POSTS STORIES REELS

Now that we're aware, let's focus on the 'how'. Aseanté Renee offers guidance on creating change. Watch our newest episode of The Unfolding: Presented by The Loveland Foundation, available now on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts! by @aseanterenee

A new episode of Ready to Exhale Podcast is out now!✨

Our founder @kataramccarty sat down with @aseanterenee a colleague and healer.

“A few days after the election, Aseanté asked me what emotions were loud for me. Her question caused me to pause and be with all of the emotions I was having. I was grateful for her thoughtfulness and care during this tender moment for many of us.

Aseanté is a beautiful human doing beautiful work. I was honored to have her on this episode of Ready to Exhale. I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.” -Katara

Strong Friends to the Front!

Back by popular demand, join therapist and social justice strategist, Aseanté Renee for her monthly journaling series at Gladys: Hey, Love, You Good? A Check-in for the Strong Friends.

As we experience less daylight this time of year, it's essential we make time for ourselves.

Last month the "Recovering Perfectionist Coach" asked us if we'd ever been called the good friend? The good daughter? The good colleague? The good [insert your role/title here]...? Next, Aseanté instructed us to replace "good" with "convenient" and if you'd could've witnessed the collective audible gasps, you wouldn't miss this next gathering.

🎟Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $10-$15 and the generous Aseanté is donating her proceeds to Susu House, a community care fund that supports Black women currently seeking employment.

✍🏾📘Bring you journal and your pen. And if you forget yours or want fresh ones, we'll have both available for purchase. See you on the 24th! by @aseanterenee

We were never meant to live every potential version of our lives in THIS lifetime.

And that can feel scary.

It is true, every decision we make may impact or have the potential to change the trajectory of our lives. But even the best decision leaves other great versions of our lives unexplored.

And that’s ok. So give yourself a little grace. by @aseanterenee

Aseanté Renee shares what Storehouse Voices means to her:

“It feels right. I feel settled. I feel deep gratitude. I feel like I’ve come home. When you know, you know—it feels like I came back home.”

When it’s right, you know. Welcome home, Aseanté. 🧡

Immediately after signing author @aseanterenee to the Storehouse Voices family, we asked her what advice she’d give her younger self: Be patient.✨

The journey won’t look how you expect, come from who you expect, or arrive when you expect—but that doesn’t mean it’s not coming. Everything you’re learning, every battle, every scar—none of it is in vain. Protect what makes you special.
