You carved every detail. The print should show it. 👀

Watch how an inked linocut block becomes a finished print with Asel Press. The hand lever helps apply even pressure across the block, without spending your studio time burnishing every inch by hand.

A compact press for the work you make at home, in class, or in your studio.

Still burnishing your linocut prints by hand? Watch the first pull. 👀

That reveal is why printmakers love the process. But getting even pressure across a block by hand can take time—and a lot of effort.

The Asel Press hand lever press helps you make cleaner, more consistent prints with less strain. It’s compact enough for a home studio and available in sizes from A5 to 19″.

Which part gives you the most trouble: uneven prints, hand fatigue, or lining up your paper? Tell us below—we’d love to make the next video about it.

Consistent, deep black coverage on the very first pull. 🌿

When you’re running a 20+ print edition, hand-pressing with a baren or wooden spoon usually means two things: patchy corners and sore wrists.
That’s exactly why we handcraft this lever press in our workshop. The calibrated beechwood bed and balanced lever distribute steady, edge-to-edge pressure in one smooth pull—letting you focus purely on the craft, not fighting the paper.

Details from today’s pull:
▫️ Block: Hand-carved botanical linoleum
▫️ Ink: Oil-based relief black
▫️ Press: Asel Handcrafted Lever Press (A4 Studio Edition)

Are you still printing editions by hand, or have you made the switch to a benchtop press? Tell us below! 👇

Clean edges, zero wrist pain, and that perfectly even ink transfer. 🖤

If you’ve ever spent hours carving a detailed block only to get uneven pressure with a baren, you know the struggle. We built our handcrafted lever presses specifically to solve that—delivering consistent, studio-grade pressure in a compact, benchtop design.
