I visited The Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay in St. Louis while in town for my cousin’s funeral. My sister told me Gordon had a spot in the Four Seasons not far from us, and I figured—if he’s always roasting everyone else’s cooking, let’s see if he can actually back it up.

Booked at 1pm, got a 9:15pm table—plan ahead, folks. Great view of the Arch, right by the casino (I gamble with seasoning, not my savings).

Hamachi Crudo? Gorgeous. Michelin-level. Salmon? Bland. No salt, no lemon—where’s the flavor, Gordon?! Risotto and truffle fries hit the mark, but the real winner? That vanilla mascarpone cheesecake. Absolute legend.

Service was spot-on, vibe was classy. Not perfect, but damn close. I stopped by the Ghirardelli spot in San Diego and it was super cute and cozy—definitely had that “treat yourself” vibe. I did get a little lost because Siri clearly has no idea how to give walking directions, but I made it through the struggle.

I ordered the Gold Rush Carl sundae, and while it tasted amazing (that caramel was so smooth and the ice cream was bomb), it didn’t come in the glass bowl like they show online. Instead, it was a smaller plastic cup, which was kind of a letdown for $16.

The place itself was adorable, but they had the doors open and there were way too many flies—I literally had to fight them off just to enjoy my sundae in peace. Not ideal.

Overall, I’d give it a 7.5/10. If the portion was a bit bigger and I didn’t have to swat flies every two seconds, it’d be a solid 10. I’d still recommend it though, and I’d probably stop by again next time I’m in downtown San Diego. Y’all, I had myself a lil’ LA adventure and you know I had to slide through @marathonburger. The wait wasn’t bad at all and the staff? Baby, they had the vibes on point. Real cool folks, had good music, and just good energy all around.

The setup was real cute—laid-back but still put together, you feel me? And shoutout to the parking gods ’cause we found a spot close by like it was meant to be. I was gonna get the shrimp (which I heard is a must), but listen—when you at a burger joint, you gotta respect the craft. So I went ahead and got the vegan burger and babyyyyy—they did NOT play around with the toppings. It was juicy, flavorful, and hit just right.

Now, I did grab me a slice of that pound cake, too… but I ain’t even get a pic ’cause I tore it up before I remembered. I would have liked a lil’ strawberry glaze on top, but it still got the job done plain. Sweet and satisfying.

Overall, it’s a solid 9.5/10 from me. I’m for sure pulling back up next time I’m in LA.

@tim8thy__ did his big one with this food truck. He is professional and seems like cool dude. It started raining while I was there . He had his assistant bring the food to my car. You can tell from picture it was fye. I loved that everything was seasoned well. I however do prefer my fish fried a little harder, but the flavors were there so i didn't mind. thank you @badprinssy for posting the truck! The Truck is located at gas station by Buger King Near the Southwest Macon Campus. I give it a 8.9/10. My one suggestion is they get a sign on the truck from back so we can see it from the street. I was coming from the doctor . I seen a couple chain restaurants, but if yk me yk I love to support local businesses. So I found @perch74bistro on maps. I had a hard time finding it, but after I circled the block 3 times looking like Joe Goldberg, I made it . It's in a big commercial building. The decor was lovely and service was excellent. I can't wait to my next doctor's appointment so I can go try their lunch. That waffle was sweet and airy. As the kids say, that sandwich ate.They who they think they are. I would give this 8/10 only because I had a hard time finding it, I think they need a sign 🪧 outside somewhere. taken in Memphis, Tennessee by @asge_sv

Poke Paradise 901 Got Me in a Chokehold!

Y’all, I slid through Poke Paradise 901 over on Summer Ave, and baybeee—that bowl did NOT come to play! I didn’t even know it came with those little fish eggs (I think they’re called roe?), but I stepped out my comfort zone and tried ‘em. Salty? Yeah. Weird? Kinda. But nasty? Nope! They actually added a lil’ pop to the whole thing.

The presentation? Chef’s kiss. That bowl looked so good I had to admire it before I even took a bite. And listen—the fish was fresh fresh. No funky smells, which is a big win for a spot serving raw fish. Clean vibes all around.

The cashier was super sweet, too. Helped me figure out what to get .I know everything is as high as Dave Chappelle right now , so it was a lil’ pricier than what I usually spend—but it was worth every coin. And they did NOT skimp. You’re getting your money’s worth, for real.

I’m giving it a strong 8.5 outta 10—PERIODT. I’m definitely going back taken in Summer Ave by @asge_sv
