Not quite positive yet, but we may have another Ole Miss Rebel in the family! Hotty Toddy! by @ash.1185
Twenty-five years ago today, September 11, 2001, was a hard truth I pray America never forgets. The depravity of man is real and beyond human comprehension. Evil is real. That is why there must always be brave men and women who are willing to stand in the gap to confront evil, protect the innocent, and fight when necessary. With more than three decades in law enforcement, I personally witnessed evil. As a Christian, I know this world will never be made right by human strength alone. Our ultimate hope is found only in Jesus Christ. This truth is highlighted over and over again in Scripture. But until Christ returns, may God continue to raise up men and women with the courage to stand against evil, the strength to defend what is good, and the faith to know where our ultimate victory lies. Twenty-five years later, we remember the thousands of innocent lives taken that morning. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and ordinary Americans who confronted evil by running toward death while others were running from it. We remember the men and women who answered their nation’s call in the years that followed, especially those who never returned home and those who came home with wounds the rest of us could not see. We owe them remembrance and gratitude. And we most definitely owe the generations coming behind us the truth. We must make sure they understand what happened, what it cost, and the kind of courage that answered evil that day and in the years that followed. May God comfort the families who still carry that loss. May He bless those who still carry the scars. #NeverForget September 11, 2001 by @ash.1185
On June 30, 2026, I retired from the United States Secret Service after 22 years of service. It was also the day I officially retired from law enforcement after more than 32 years of service. I’ve spent some time trying to put into words what this career and the people who have been part of it have meant to me. The truth is, it’s difficult to capture the last 22 years in a few paragraphs. What I can say is thank you. by @ash.1185

I love the blessings outlined in Psalm 91, which God gives to those who truly know and love Him, blessings that are rooted in a deep love and steadfast attachment to God through faith in Jesus. “Because he holds fast to Me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows My name. When he calls to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭91‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭ While God doesn’t promise us an absence of trouble (“I will be with him in trouble”), He does promise us that we will have His presence in our troubles. This promise of God’s presence, protection, and “ultimate” deliverance is for those who truly know and love Him. Reflections: 1. Do you hold fast to God, or only turn to Him when things go wrong? 2. Do you truly know God, His character and holiness, or just know about God? 3. Is your prayer life reactionary, or genuinely relational? God’s promises are tied to that kind of life. by @ash.1185
Happy 17th birthday, son! Your kind heart and infectious humor bring so much needed joy and happiness into my world. I’m incredibly grateful to be your dad and to watch your journey unfold. You’ve always made, and continue to make, being a father a dream come true and I’m so grateful to you for that. Here’s to another year full of love, laughter, faith in Jesus, and that incredible sense of humor that makes you who you are. I love you more than I could ever express. by @ash.1185
Because He lives, it’s not just a once-a-year celebration on Resurrection Sunday, it’s a daily reality. We live with hope, purpose, and victory. “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭8‬ ‭ by @ash.1185
