when the rumble of an ancient city proves too much, you might also find yourself slipping into the cracks of the first quiet corner you can find - in this case a bazaar that was more so a jungle of memories and bent brass decor than sellable wears. wandering deep into the back where various objects dangling above made melodies in the wind, it became a nice contrast to the haggling in greek coming from the front of the store.

i’m not sure how i ended up under a camp table, but there under dusty turkish rugs was a singular forgotten milk crate full of captured moments + love letters & thoughts on postcards from all over the world.

legs crossed, hunched over the crate and indeed locked in, i spent the better of an hour sifting through grecian memories piece by piece. one of the simplest times, but a beautiful core memory from my trip.

i learnt that day maybe perhaps the real way to see the backbone of a culture is simply by going through a families forgotten photo album rather than attending a silly museum that will cost you €35 and most of your sanity (tried and tested)

i found these sweet pictures of a family with their new car seperated throughout the box and felt chuffed once they were joined together again. vowing to keep them close, i decided to bring them on an adventure back home to the snowies where they can remain beside eachother and not left forgotten in dust.

yeah goddesses and the guy who controls thunder is cool but how bout how stoked these guys are with their new whip in the 60’s.

passed out somewhere in the lavender fields and it’s all been good from there
