Nothing worse than an automated, red text query tracker email. But rejection is part of the process! Never giving up!

Hi! I'm Ashley Sanders!

I want to properly introduce myself to my new followers (and because I always meant to do a get to know me post)!

💖📚 I am 27 years old, and an aspiring author writing a Romantasy series called NIGHTRISE. I am currently querying the first novel and already drafting the second! I've wanted to be an author since the fourth grade and decided a few years ago to follow that dream!

Some fun facts about me:
🍁🍂I am a fall girly, give me all the sweaters and pumpkin spice and rainy, cozy vibes. And I have reverse seasonal depression (summer just isn't it).
💍 I'm married to a super talented architect @a.s_architecture_projects (who almost never reads but is so supportive of my dream).
⚡Harry Potter is a masterpiece and my favorite series of all time. Throne of Glass is a close second.
🎶 Music is my favorite language and I cannot live without it. I have multiple curated playlists for my moods, I love piano and I love singing with my sisters.
🏁I have an obsession with all things Mackenzie-childs and black and white (swipe for the cutest owl mug ever).
🎨 I love to draw and paint even though I never devote time to it.
📚 I'm either reading a new book every week or in a reading slump for a month, there is no in between.
🍳 I love cooking and I believe you can do so much with flavor without being fancy in the kitchen.
💻 I'm a graphic designer and no, I don't want to design my own book covers but yes I've mocked up my ideas.

Introduce yourself in the comments and say hi! And if enemies-to-lovers, unique magic, slow burn romance, forest quests, secrets, royalty and EPIC plot twists are your preferred book tropes, you're in the right place! Share this with your friends and fellow book girlies and follow me on my journey to make this dream come true! Also stay tuned, an end of summer giveaway is coming up 👀
