Reflecting on my very 1st road trip to Georgia, & my heart is so full! Georgia, thank you for welcoming me with open arms.

🧳 Trip Takeaways:

📌 The Vibe:
Every greeting is a hug 🤗, every farewell is “Safe travels!”, and it’s pronounced Pee-can 😄.

📌 The Eats:
The food is out of this 🌎! My favorite coffee @redowlcoffee my favorite snack (boiled 🥜), & amazing meals cooked by @hollyweston 🧑‍🍳.

📌 📕 Stops:
Huge 🙏 to @thelittleavriett (Homerville, GA) & @thegoodbook.sandyshouse (Valdosta, GA) for welcoming Feathers of Faith!

📌 Community & Memories:
💛✨ It will be hard to top visiting the South GA House of Hope - Cedar School 🍎 staff & children 💛—thank you for inviting me into your classroom! (And my new favorite homemade jam is from @sogahouseofhope ).
Met wonderful folks at the Hahira Honeybee 🐝 Festival.

Love & Gratitude: Thank you to my family for your endless love and support.

I walked into Cedar School thinking I was there to bless the students by reading my new children’s book, Feathers of Faith, for my very first classroom reading. But I was the one who walked away truly blessed.

After I finished reading, the sweet students, teachers, and staff gathered together and prayed over me. It touched my heart in a way I never expected. Thank you so much to Cedar School for opening your doors and hearts to me! 🤍✨ taken in South Georgia House of Hope by @ash9506

Taking a quick pause on the author road trip to soak in Savannah! Came for the gorgeous moss-draped live oaks and scenery, but left completely captivated by the local history—especially the guided tour through Bonaventure Cemetery. 🌳📜✨

On my 1st major solo trip, driving over 900 miles to share Feathers of Faith, the Lord decided to absolutely show off.

He took the setting ☀️ of my past season & used it to light up my future, sending three 🌈 in a matter of minutes—including one that appeared to touch the ground right next to my car!
Feathers of Faith is a story of rescue, adoption, & a love that never lets us go.
To see the 🌈 from my back cover mirrored in the sky was the ultimate divine confirmation.
✨What a beautiful reminder of my Heavenly Father’s personal love & the faithfulness of God’s promises! 🙌🪶. by @ash9506

A reminder of how God’s protection is always present. I was getting ready to hit the road when I checked my air pressure & noticed cracks in my sidewalls. The mechanic at the shop was shocked I hadn’t had a blowout yet. Thank You, Lord, for watching over me before I even realized I needed it. 🙏
