THE MONARCH HERITAGE MISTER GLOBAL MALAYSIA : @asyraf.889 Designer : @ash_apple A Royal Interpretation of Perak’s Heritage β€œThe Monarch Heritage” is a contemporary national costume inspired by the royal heritage and traditional identity of Perak Darul Ridzuan, translating elements of Malay royal attire into a distinguished ceremonial ensemble. The costume features a rich royal blue base, symbolising dignity, sovereignty and nobility, complemented by black and antique-gold songket-inspired motifs that create a strong regal character. The elaborate gold detailing across the cuffs, sash, waist ornament and draped fabric reflects the splendour traditionally associated with Malay royal ceremonial dress. A prominent royal-style headpiece in yellow and gold crowns the ensemble, creating an unmistakable monarch-inspired silhouette. The layered gold accessories and ornamental chest piece further emphasise authority and ceremonial grandeur, while the long songket drape introduces movement and theatricality suitable for a national costume presentation. The Perak influence is expressed through the combination of royal blue, traditional Malay silhouette, luxurious songket motifs and ceremonial accessories, creating a visual interpretation of Perak’s royal identity without losing its contemporary fashion character.
