This is 7! 4.5.19 I still can’t believe my baby boy is 7! The say time flies when you’re having fun. The days are definitely long, but years, man the years go by fast. The greatest honor of my life was becoming a mother and you, Jack, made me a mother. You changed me in the most incredible ways. You light up everyone’s world around you. You have a heart of gold, the sweetest laugh, you are so smart, and love watching you loving to play sports. I could not be more proud to be your mom. I am so excited to soak up the summer with you and take it all in before you head into second grade. Thank you for being you. Thank you for still cuddling and loving on me like you do. You know me so well and I just love being besties with you. I will forever say yes to playing basketball with you out front, & playing 2K with you (even though I’ve yet to beat you). I still love watching you drift to sleep. I love that I still get to pick you up on occasion when you fall asleep on the couch and carry you to your bed. I’ll never be able to put into words what you mean to me, how obsessed I am with you, and how I just want to hold you tight like you’re still my little baby.
