Here for a good time, not a long time (but also kind of a long time because I never wanted to leave) ✈️

Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound with @real.newzealand were easily the highlight reel of this trip, pinch me scenery, zero complaints. The cancelled heli hike in Franz Josef with @truesouthflights Rude, but understandable, Mother Nature doesn't do refunds, so I'll just have to come back 🫶🏽

Also coming home with a suitcase 70% clothes, 30% @whittakersnz chocolate. No regrets, no shame 😂

When stone breathes poetry...this is how it looks!

Both the Belur and Halebeedu temples are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.🏆

Belur (Chennakeshava) & Halebidu (Hoysaleshwara) — The twin jewels of Hoysala architecture. Dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva, these temples are a masterpiece of intricate carving that took over a century to complete. They suffered significant damage, plunder, and attempted destruction at the hands of Northern Sultanate armies aka "Mughals/Muslim invaders" in the 14th century. However massive efforts have been undertaken in the last 150+ years to survey, restore and conserve these archaeological wonders.

What a privilege it was to bathe in such history, art and architecture ✨

Bhutan - Druk yul/ land of thunder dragon.

Paro Taktsang, or the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, is Bhutan's most iconic Buddhist site, perched precariously on a 3,120-meter (feet) cliff edge in the Paro Valley. Founded in 1692, it surrounds a 8th-century cave where Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated on a tigress's back. The site features four temples with gold roofs and offers breathtaking Himalayan views.

One can ride a horse to the half mark, but has to continue the rest of the journey on foot. As for me, I made it there and back on foot and it definitely did challenge me!

Cambodia - Land of temples and Khmer

It certainly has my heart, the people despite the hardships are one of the friendliest in the world. Centuries of conflict and the fatigue is very visible, but so is the richness in culture, cuisine and art. From campot pepper to lotus silk, from all the temples to the 3AM tuk tuk rides, I enjoyed every bit of it thoroughly

On my recent trip to NT, I decided to check out the field of lights installation. I had seen many photos, heard great things, but little did I know how impactful this would be on me. The stars and constellations were all shining bright and this wall was nothing short of spectacular!

Field of Light art installation, a global phenomenon by internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro, has come ‘home’ to the place that inspired it - Uluru.

The installation, aptly named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakutjaku by the local community means ‘looking at lots of beautiful lights’ in local Pitjantjatjara will be in place until 31 December 2020.
