Let's talk about feelings today
Let's talk about love
Let's gaze at stars
And walk miles under the blinding sun

This. Is what I do to myself every single time. Matlab khush to rehna hi nahi hai kuch na kuch dhundna hai overthinking k lye. Don't do that. Enjoy happiness while you experience it. We get addicted to sadness so easily and take the little moments of joy for granted instead of living through them. .

This is the third time I am posting someone else's work, yes it's very special. For many of us writing isn't something we discover out of the blue, it's in our blood since we've known to live. But for others it's like the breeze which slowly makes its way towards you, like the gold dazzling light as the sun rises, it's like the first breath, or sometimes the last. Each one of us connects differently with this form of art yet so many relate with the words of others, the thoughts of others. Here's another piece for you to ponder upon and relate to.
Happy Reading! ❤️

If there had to be one thing that really terrified me, of course except losing my loved ones, it'd be not being able to express through writing. It's been such a constant, a shelter and this place, it's been like a safe haven since the very start. And now there are days, or weeks when I see myself not being able to compose a single piece of poetry or not being able to pen something down which is worthwhile, it's kinda more than sad. People, they're so talented, if they fail at one thing there's always something else as a backup, but for me... Well this is it tbh. ________________________________
I remember being obsessed with the number of followers or likes I had. With people and where they placed me in their priority lists. With my insecurities. With sadness and being able to reflect it in my words. With the idea that the world had always been unfair to me.
But tbh... Looking back none of it really matters anymore. What matters are the smaller bits, the moments of happiness and pure joy. The moments which had lessons hidden under their folds. What matters is where I am today, also the path I chose. And all of it has left me in a state of contentment which I'd never want to abandon except when it's finally time to fly to places with newer treasures that the universe beholds. _______________________________
