Okay but seriously…what would you tell her? I have this convo with friends A LOT. You see one person win and suddenly you are questioning all life choices and feeling 40,000 miles behind on life. “There is no trophy for how you live your life.” is what I would say. Everyone tells me I’m a creative. But that same brain spent years crying through maths tutoring.I’d put my times tables CD on in my bedroom and sit there trying to force myself to get it…[I never ever did]Straight A’s in everything else yet I was SO ashamed that I needed a tutor for THIS.Turns out I have dyscalculia lol… [only joined the dots on that as an adult which is a whole other experience] So yes I still count on my fingers and can’t do mental math and pretend to be able to calculate discounts in my head. But what it taught me early is where I’m actually GOOD. So I went all in there and got help with the rest of it. Same in business. If you sit down to plan a campaign and the best your brain churn out is 60% off slapped on a bit of b roll, that’s okay. Creative just isn’t where you’re strongest. Bring in someone who lives and breathesss that sh*t.[ that someone is me lol]#youresocreative #creative #creativelife by @ashacoooper
