Bby it’s cold outside but it’s absolute 🔥 on stage with ‘The Lion The B!tch and The Wardrobe’ gang. 💖

It’s not just my bias because the reviews in from press night so far are raving and standing ovations don’t lie.
✨
I have never done anything like this production before and never had to sing 17 sold out shows in one month let alone how much more fit I got during a few weeks rehearsals.

Genuinely the lushest bunch of people to work with, I haven’t a bad word to say about a single person on cast and crew (unlike past jobs). I feel safe and respected, looked after and sXy in their presence. They have pushed me to my absolute best on stage, and now my new skills include: singing in aerial, and wearing knee pads on stage like a real dancer🤌🏽

If you have tickets to this show you are honestly lucky duckies. I am freaking chuffed and honoured and constantly rewatch it every night from side stage in awe. It’s been proper cheering me up at a time of year I might usually elsewise be glum.

This is only part of one costume so no spoilers 🙅🏽‍♀️ but shoutout to @petroskourtellaris and team for making me look cuuuute.

I wish I could go back and tell my younger self all the things she went through would strengthen her values and eventually help her find community as beautiful as this 🙏🏽

Hello all, so I'll be speaking at @idaxrstudio meet up this Thursday -
February 20 · 1 - 3:30pm GMT @walesmillenniumcentre about being new to the sector of immersive technology (but also about how freaking excited I get about it too.)

Here is more about the event from the organisers:

Join the Ida Network for our meet-up in Cardiff, hosted by Ida Hwb at the Wales Millennium Centre, bringing together women, non-binary, and trans people who are working in- or aspiring to work in – immersive technologies. This event will focus on the emotional and mental challenges that often accompany new beginnings such as career changes or entering new industries. Alongside talks from our guest speakers, we’ll explore some of the challenges that arise with new beginnings. Themes will include:

· Self-sabotage: reframing your mindset and seeking support.

· Imposter syndrome: celebrating your progress and noting your achievements.

· Fear of being your authentic self: challenging your assumptions and reflecting on your values.

Whether you’re new to immersive technologies or an experienced professional, this is a chance to build confidence, share knowledge, and connect with a supportive and inclusive community.
