It is an incredibly special and SLIGHTLY daunting day for me because today I announced my sophomore album DESIRE IS AN ANGEL🤍🪽 Making this album softened me in ways I didn’t expect and I’m so excited to share more about desire and how it has shaped the person I’ve become. It comes out Oct 2nd and you can pre-save/pre-order it on vinyl in my bio!!! I’ll also be playing some special solo shows to play new songs and talk about the album later this month. Live, laugh, love n see you there!!!

WALRUS out now off my album DESIRE IS AN ANGEL 🗺️ This song is about being so down and knees deep in a feeling you’d do anything for it. Probably my scorpio rising coming out here.

DESIRE IS AN ANGEL IS OUT. Nothing but love and confetti for this album and the wild journey it’s been 🤍 it’s a story of loneliness, ambition, lust, love, projecting, loss, rebirth. I hope it connects you to your heart, your desires and desire for life. Making this album caught me at a turning point; I stopped wanting to be the subject of someone else’s desire and started embodying my own desires. I thought yearning meant leaving myself and the home I’d built, but desire has driven me closer towards myself, to my sense of home and my connection to life.

Recorded in the London spring, 2025.
All songs written by me, additional writing by George Reed and Tom Iansek.
Produced by Tom Iansek and me.
Mixed by Tom Iansek

Guitar, bass and synth - George
Drum + engineering - Lloyd Haines
Electric and acoustic guitar - Alex Haines
Vocals, guitar, keys, synth - me
Additional guitar, synth, keys - Tom
Backing vocals - Jo Davie
Trumpet - Michael Ufer
Words of wisdom - Siobhán Bradley
Mastered by Lachlan Carrick

Artwork by Meg Siejka and Summer King.

Thank you Alyse at aanthologies,
Dan, Katie and Fuchsia at NETTWERK and Creative Australia 🙏 This album wouldn’t be possible without your support.

Almost there….🎶🎧

Katie Gregson-Macleod - Good Guess @katiegregsonmacleod
Flirty and indecisive. That’s my type of song. Also @__flyte__ co-produced and play on the track!

Lizzy McAlpine - Angel @lizzymcalpine
Obsessed with anything that Lizzy says or does. This album feels particularly lush and life affirming.

Alex G - June Guitar @sandyalexg
I was late to the Alex G boat, but will never get off. Listen to this song with the sun on your shoulders and eat some strawberries and report back.

True Mountain Laurel - Angel So Bad @whoistml
My next dream is to be in a girl band like this

Fennie Lily- Uh Huh @fennelily
If you like sad and gently self-depracating New York nostalgia

M Field - Andrew @mfield.music
When I was in Amsterdam, I was high on this song while riding my bike. I love the bouncy guitars

Cassandra Jenkins - Omakase @cassandrajenkins
For deep feelers that like a soft ear hug

Gia Margaret - Everyone Around Me Dancing @giamargaret
Great song from a great album. A universally relatable loneliness explored on this song

Scratching - FWU @scratchingmusic
Soft swaying sunset banger. The harmonies! The production! by @ashajefferies
