Its been an extremely busy 3 weeks and I have a day off now to breathe haha. I had the awesome opportunity to play at the #GreenYuri themed prom at @thevirgilbar recently, and it was so fun!

I of course played the pop punk classics of the 2000's and mixed it with hip hop classics from the same era. I also, highlighted modern black punk artists for #blackhistorymonth❤️🖤💚 !

It was fun going into my identity as a black person who still loves punk music!!

I will be recording and putting my mix up ASAP! Thanks for those who came out and for the opportunity @initial_rhi and @prismpower_la 🤘🏿😝

Last post on #2016 wanted to share more moments that I cherished. My goal is to be her again. The explorer, the lover of music, the go-getter.

1. I got my first paid festival gig at @bottlerocknapa . It wasn't production, but I was proud because I worked hard. The year before they said I needed more experience, so I got it - mostly thanks to TO.

2. Had an obsession with collecting really cool old cameras.

3. My music blog was thriving and I was going to shows way to many times in a week haha

4. And once again Canada and UK brought really cool friendships and memories. by @ashalaysays

This lore on #2016 has influenced me to share who I was at this time. 2016 me was doing the thing!!

1. I was living it up in LA and Toronto until I officially moved abroad without looking back until now.

2. I was one year into SGRHO, rocking that blue and gold wherever I went.

3. I was hoping to make a change for the US. I am a proud #berniesanders supporter to this day!

4. Finally, I moved to Leeds and started a new adventure that kept me gone for 10 yrs+. Ready to go back out and live again. 😊

Week 4!! I actually got to go to a community session and vibe as my schedule allowed me! It was very cool meeting others in the @yourshot_usa community.

Shout out to all YS community that attended and gave me tips.

We're on week 5 now and my set is coming togetherrrrrrr. Just a bit of nerves for performance day on 11/16.
