It’s a VERY special birthday today!!! My Honey’s 🥹 Year 26 the best year yet! ❤️🥹

I hope you know how incredibly loved and appreciated you are, not just today, but every day. You’re my protector, my person, my safe space and I’m so honored I get to share this life with you🥹

I’m so grateful for all the laughs, memories, adventures, and little and big moments we share.

Watching you grow, chase your dreams, and become the man you are today makes me so proud. I pray this new year brings you endless happiness, success, peace, and everything your heart desires.

Three years ago, if you told me I’d be a teacher, I would’ve laughed. I kept saying no, but my heart for kids kept saying yes. The more I was around them, the more I became intrigued and invested.
I prayed daily asking God what my calling was, without realizing I was already walking in it. From helping close a kindergarten class, to covering for a veteran teacher all year, even having a video of me teaching UFli played at District wide Professional Developments for other teachers (all while still not being fully licensed) I still wasn’t convinced… until the last day before summer break.
That morning on my way to school, I asked God to show me how talented I was (because I was still unsure😅). That afternoon, my principal announced that me and a teammate were the only teachers in the school with 100% of our students passing. I don’t share that to brag, but to say God confirmed it again—teaching is my calling!
Through many failed Praxis attempts, tears, doubt, thousands of hand written flashcards, and countless prayers, it was all worth it. Because now, I have my own classroom. I get to do what I love most, serve the next generation!

Here’s to a new school year, new lessons, and living in the purpose God designed for me. 💛📚
