Rest in peace and love, our sweet Emma girl 🤍🪽

From the moment she came into our lives, she had the kindest heart & was just so easy to love! I remember the first time I met her, seven years ago. She was wearing a little Christmas sweater, & the moment she greeted me, she completely stole my heart. From that day on, she became part of our everything: our first date, our engagement, & was with us during all our life chapters in between.
Always by my side for car rides, coffee runs, walks, errands, or just lounging around the house.

Emma was such a grandma at heart, but she loved a good adventure and every scent the world had to offer. She’d lift her nose to take in every smell and often follow her nose, sometimes, wandering off on her own to investigate a scent.

She loved wearing clothing of any kind. Her bandanas, cozy sweaters to warm Halloween costumes & was always so proud to wear her harness. She was also famously stubborn, especially when it came to the cold. If it was chilly outside, we’d be in our Stitch Halloween costume far past the holiday.

She was grateful for every bit of it always showing her appreciation & excitement with the biggest kisses & loud love cries!

When we brought home Finn and Willa, she immediately took them under her wing, teaching them every little lesson & showing them how to be the best pups. She loved them & boy did they love her!

Emma had been bravely battling cancer for a while and gave us more time than we ever could have imagined. We made sure her last days were filled with all her favorite things: pup cups, her favorite visitors, lots of sunshine, walks around the yard, cuddles, treats, & so, so much love!

Just recently, Jeremy told me that she was named after Eminem “Em” for short.

I’d like to think that she’s watching over us, trying to put a smile on our faces. As we were driving home last night, we saw a single, random firework. Then, when we got home, “Hypnotize” by The Notorious B.I.G. was blasting from our Alexa!

Today, Jeremy and I celebrate our 6th dating anniversary! 🤍

2024 has brought so many highs, but what stands out most is the unwavering love and support we’ve received from those who’ve cheered us on throughout this special and memorable year. We are so incredibly lucky to have you all in our life!
