POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

✨ TODAY’S THE DAY! ✨

The new A Court of Thorns and Roses collection dropped at @indigo and I couldn’t risk waiting and missing out! I had to grab the ornament set before it sold out! 🥹

Honestly, I’m not even sure I’ll use these as actual ornaments... I might just be too obsessed with having a miniature set of one of my favourite book series ever! The tiny details are everything, especially the little quotes on the back of each book! And the fact that they open and you can store little trinkets inside?! 😭✨

These would make a perfect gift for the book lover in your life (or the perfect little treat for yourself).

Thank you to @tandemcollectiveglobal @tundrabooks @indiebookstoresca @penguinrandomca for sending me a copy of A Door Is to Open by @kyomaclear and @juliemorstad ! 🤍📚

This adorable illustrated book explores the endless possibilities of what might be waiting behind every door you open. The illustrations are charming, and the story encourages readers to imagine all the wonderful things that could be on the other side!

This is the first illustrated book I’ve had the opportunity to share, and I’m so excited to read it with my niece and explore all the possibilities together.

My October hopefuls 📚🍂✨

Heir of Fire, Fruit Fly, and Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. A mix of fantasy, dark twists, and gothic vibes. I'm hoping I can get through all three this month!

What’s on your October TBR, and which book should I be most excited for?

Three books, three very different stories, and so many emotions!

A special thank you to @tandemcollectiveglobal for sending me The Barman of the Ritz and including me in my first readalong.

Already excited for what October brings! 🍂

Finished The Barman of the Ritz 📖✨

This was my first time participating in a readalong with @tandemcollectiveglobal, and I genuinely loved the experience! It was so much fun reading along, sharing thoughts, and seeing everyone’s reactions throughout the book.

I really enjoyed this story, it took me outside my usual genre and introduced me to a new type of historical fiction that I definitely want to explore more of.

Thank you @tandemcollectiveglobal and @simonschusterca for having me be part of this readalong! I absolutely loved the experience and can’t wait to join more readalongs in the future!✨

Starting my first readalong with @tandemcollectiveglobal 📖🤍

A huge thank you to @simonschusterca for sending me a copy of The Barman of the Ritz!

This is definitely a book outside of my usual genres, but I’m always up for a reading challenge!

The novel takes place in Paris 1940, as the Nazis occupy Paris, the Ritz Hotel remains open and Frank Meier, its Jewish head barman, continues serving Nazi officers while secretly forming alliances to help save Jewish families and protect his loved ones. It's a powerful story of courage, survival, and resistance during one of history’s darkest times.

I’m excited to connect with some fellow enthusiastic bookish people joining me for this readalong! I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks! ✨

August reading recap 📚✨

Two books completed this month, and I definitely found a new love for Quicksilver by @calliehartauthor ! I can't wait to pick up Brimstone because there are SO many things I need answers to! 👀

And of course, the queen of thrillers, @fmcfaddenauthor made an appearance in my August reading recap. This one was definitely dark and twisted, and I have to say… some of it was completely unexpected!

Two books, two very different reading experiences, but both left me wanting more.

Reading on a rainy day is my kind of therapy 🌧️📖

Quicksilver review: It took me a little bit to get into, but once I was hooked, I didn’t want to put it down. Now I need to pick up Brimstone because there are way too many things I need answers to!

a rainy sunday spent at @daocafe ☕️🥐🌧️

sharing something a little different from my usual book content, but we had a lovely time at this café. the atmosphere was cute and cozy, and the food and drinks were even better.

we tried their latte and iced chai paired with a nutella croissant, crème brûlée mochi donut, and of course I couldn’t pass up the cutest squirtle cookies & cream macaron.

safe to say we’ll be back soon!

It's that time of the month again... July is coming to an end. It's upsetting how quickly the summer is going by.

This month's reading varied throughout the rating scale. I think if I read TAB before TOG my ratings may have been better but regardless I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

How were your reads this month, did you have any five star ratings? 💭💫

Had to check out the @sarahjmaas collection at @indigo.barrhaven today! Such a beautiful collection, it was hard to walk out with just one piece 🌙✨

I also picked up Red Rising by @piercebrownofficial I keep seeing great things about this series so I had to see what the hype is about. Have you read this series, what did you think? 💭
