There we were..

At the airport ✅
Security ✅
Arrived at gate ✅
And then, everyone needed to use the restroom.
So one by one, they went.

That’s when it happened. You never know when Holy Spirit is going to airdrop your next mission.
But just then I felt the nudge to just start saying out loud how much Jesus is looking for a relationship with people.

As people passed, I got words of knowledge for them individually. I would just say it out loud, they would walk by and have a puzzled look on their face as they slowed down, and I would tell them to seek Jesus.

Blake didn’t know what I was doing 😂 but went to go get waters and snacks. Just then at the corner of my eye, I saw someone with a phone recording me. When we locked eyes, he came right towards me.

I thought quickly, “Well, this should be interesting.” 😂

But as he approached he said “Hey what are you saying?”

I felt His presence and the angels that were sent. Flames of fire.
Good News was being delivered.

Jesus showed HIMSELF by telling him things about him that I wouldn’t know. Holy Spirit does that.

The supernatural is necessary for the Gospel to go forth. It’s not supernatural to God- it’s His very nature.

I’m not just bold- He gives me that grace.
I’m not just an extrovert- He gives me that grace.
It’s not just sharing the message of Jesus- He gives the grace of accompanying His message with Himself- His GLORY.

Right after the man said “Your eyes are like, shining.” He chuckled and said “What is going on? Haha”

I said, “God wants you to know Him. It’s not just a head knowledge- it’s Him leading your life. And the only way for that to happen is to know Jesus.”

With that, we needed to go but I asked that he send me the video he took. I didn’t store his name, which I normally would. But I felt this was one of those times I was just to be a messenger, just planting a seed.

You never know how many people in heaven will be there because you did something that made people think about Jesus.

Live with eternity in mind. If you don’t know how, ask Him. He’ll show you- just get ready for what you’re about to experience!

I wonder about Mary…

She had enormous favor with God. Yet the prophetic words promised weren’t for her. It was about her Son.

She had more kids after Jesus. Did she see Him on that cross, and think “I wish I had more one-on-one time with Him”?

Would she have massaged His feet and hands longer knowing there would be wounds there?

Would she rub His head to sleep longer knowing the thorns that would be pushed into it?

Would she caress His belly and skin more softly knowing His body would be bruised and beaten for us?

Would she sing Him longer lullabies knowing all of creation bows to Him?

Did she read His Word over Him and to Him knowing it all came through Him?

Did she know that healing would come through all of these things?

Mary believed what she was told about her Son, and cherished them in her heart. But could she possibly have known the weight of what it all meant?

She held onto the promise from when He was conceived in her womb. Was there more insight into who He was as He grew? Even as an adult, when Jesus performed His first miracle (John 2), she told the disciples to do what Jesus said to do. She knew.

Do we know? Do we look at our kids like “Wow, you ARE special” and actually believe it? Do we hold on to the words spoken over them or do we just write it off as some kind gesture?

As mothers and fathers, our assignment is to raise up this generation to have boldness, knowledge of God and His Word, and an adherence to believing the prophetic words spoken over them- to carry out their own crosses all to glorify the One who did so for us.

What if we looked at our children, from newborns to adult children, and reminded them by declaring who the Lord said they are? Pray into those prophetic clues that the Lord has given you. I’m sure Mary did.

Look at your children like they are who God says they are. Pray those things. Tell them those things. Believe. taken in California by @ashbyerley

If you’re asking “why”…

If you’re in the waiting- whether you’ve experienced loss, infertility, or any complications- our Father sees. He knows. You’re His daughter. He wants to fulfill the desires of your heart more than you do. Keep praying and KNOW He is faithful. 🩷

Every season has it’s time and purpose, although we may not perceive it. The Lord has it all in the palm of His hand. This postpartum period has been different- the 4th baby requires more healing time to my 38 year old body. I have slowed down, without shame or guilt, in a way that makes me uncomfortable. But that’s what He helps us do; He is the Comforter. It’s okay to say no to things, even those that are good for you. Because His plan is better.

I want to remember:
When he tries to latch on my nose 😭
and the newborn scrunch 🥹

What are you cherishing in this season? Look around and find the joy in the small things. They add up to the big things. And that? Well, that’s life.

Jesus is praying for you. He will redeem, and restore what was taken. He will bring peace and comfort. That’s who He is 🙏🏽 taken in California by @ashbyerley

Whether it’s your friend, your mom, your sister- God sends those we need. When others can’t be there, just know He takes care of His children and will always provide.
It takes a village. Truly. Thank you to all who have and continue to pray, who have given their time, talents, and treasure to help us. We need it 😂

Who is helping you postpartum? Accept the help. The enemy wants you to feel alone. But you’re not. He gives good gifts to His children.

these are the things I think about 🥹🙏🏽

There’s a season for everything, and the Lord determines our steps no matter how much we plan.
How beautiful and freeing to know things aren’t always in our control. LORD give me Your eyes to see, and be grateful for it all.

Thank you for my husband, and all the good dads out there. They are Your sons- may You refresh them in this season with experiencing Your Fatherly embrace and love.

And his name will be…

Lion Benjamin Shepherd Byerley 🕊️

“Shep” was sent earth side on 9.19.26 weighing 7.1 lbs, with his bright blonde hair, in the most beautiful worship service you could ever experience. Jesus was with us and all I can say is, birth is such a holy moment in time when Holy Spirit is truly in the room.

We cannot begin to thank you for your prayers. The Lord has something very special planned for him, and we are soaking up every snuggle and moment.

Genesis 49:9-10
You are a lion’s cub, Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him. The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

About Benjamin he said:

If you were in the military, it’s what you do 😂

No one said life has to be boring. God made laughter. He gave us something that can be seen and produced only by His Spirit, and one we forget about a lot- JOY.

JOY can be had even in the hardest, monotonous times.
Happiness is fleeting, but JOY comes from the Lord. 🕊️
