being trans is a gift that I love and cherish 🏳️‍⚧️⚧️ happy #tdov my loves!

cheers to looking in the mirror and seeing who I am on the inside finally reflected on the outside. to being able to go on this journey with myself and to be in community with those also on their own journey.

being trans is a gift, being able to know yourself in such a way, being able to take those steps forward and say I won’t adhere to something that isn’t meant for me, I will follow my own truth and listen to my own inner knowing and self.

it’s a gift to love a trans person, it’s a gift to know them, and i am blessed to be surrounded by so many loving humans who support me in my truth and hold me and love me for who I am.

that being said, there are so many anti-trans bills trying to be passed every week in this country and it can be terrifying and discouraging and so this is my reminder to my cis friends and allies that trans people are not an abstract concept, we are real, we are here, we exist and we are people who just want the ability to live our lives to the fullest.

and to those who have seen the subtle name change on my socials and done the little and big things and made me feel so loved and seen and appreciated, thank you so so very much 💗
