Aww this how it’s started, from the airplane to fitting and 🎥 with one of the amazing production company @theproductionfactory. Best weekend ever with my baby. He made everything better. It was the therapy I didn’t know I needed. Seeing him so happy and in his element brings me joy. My little pilot Asher got another chance to meet the greatest to ever do it, Captain Barrington Irving Jr @barringtonirving Captain Irving made history as the first Black person and first Jamaican to fly solo around the world, and the youngest to do it. That’s inspirational, Asher will visit his Flying Classroom and get to see the plane he flew. He’s absolutely excited and I can’t wait to take him. Just yesterday it felt like you were here. Even now, it still feels unreal that you’re no longer with us in the flesh. But your spirit has never left this home. You changed my life forever, and I will never be the same.Your legacy lives on in a way only God could design. Your baby brother didn’t just hear about you — he knew you. He loved you. His very first words were your name… “LJ.” Before he could understand anything else, his spirit recognized yours. That alone tells me your bond was deeper than time, deeper than this world.Even now, he walks in your footsteps with no explanation except God’s hand. Your love for airplanes, engineering, art, laughter, and pure joy — all of it lives in him. He carries your light so naturally, as if you whispered it into him before you left. When I look at him, I see pieces of you shining through, reminding me that you never truly left. Heaven may hold you, but your presence still fills this house.Today marks three years since you went home to God, and instead of drowning in pain, I feel your peace surrounding me. I feel you close. So today, I choose to honor you — your life, your joy, your purpose. I will keep your story alive for as long as I breathe. Proud moment! 🥰 My little fighter Pilot , just 5 years old, took control of his identity! He’s always known he’s a boy, and today he made it clear - no more confusion, no more labels. He knows who he is, and that’s all that matters 🙌🏿. People often mistook him for a girl because of his hair, but he’s breaking free from societal expectations. I’m in awe of his confidence and self-awareness. Asher’s not your average baby! 😊 From months old, he’d be mesmerized by airplanes on morning and evening strolls. His curiosity sparked a passion that grew with him. We’d take him to airports, and he’d get special tours - they even called him the CEO of the hangars due to his frequency 😂 Now, he flies remote control planes,creates Lego masterpieces and draws amazing airplanes. His future’s bright! His big bro’s journey inspired him, and God had a plan all along. If your child has a passion, nurture it! Give them the tools and resources to succeed. Almost three years ago, I lost my firstborn son LJ. My heart still aches, and honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever truly “get over” losing him. He was everything to me—the best son a mother could ever dream of. His heart was pure gold; he was kind, loving, and fiercely loyal. There was nothing he wouldn’t do, and I often wonder what life would truly be without him. It’s still incredibly tough.But even in the deepest sorrow, God’s plan unfolded in ways I couldn’t have imagined. He knew my path, and when He called my precious boy home, He also blessed me with another son. Sixteen years later, I was shocked and overjoyed to find myself pregnant with Asher. My firstborn had nearly three wonderful years to bond with his little brother, and Asher’s first word was “LJ.”Today, almost three years after LJ joined the angels, it feels like he never truly left. Asher is everything like him and more—a beautiful echo of his big brother. Asher’s world, just like LJ’s, is wrapped up in Aviation /airplanes. Sometimes, it feels like he’s a reincarnation of his big brother, a vibrant spirit connecting heaven and earth.This post is dedicated to both my sons: one in heaven, and one here with me on earth. In a miraculous way, the two have become one, and because of them, I know I am never truly alone. God, thank you for saving my life, for restoring my hope, and for renewing my strength.The picture I’m sharing embodies all three of us together. My sweet LJ may not be physically present, but his spirit is always, always around.
