to baldur’s gate we go! ⚔️

or to berk we go? or even basgiath?! 🐉 you can go wherever you want with these beautiful prints/posters from @sylvandesignco ! they are high-quality and all designed by Danielle!

i’m so honored to be able to work with her on creating a new space above my desk where my dragons can fly to wherever they feel most at home ☺️ thank you so much Danielle for helping me create a new space that’s filled with my absolute favorite places!

picking up an old hobby ✍️

when i was younger, i used to draw and make books all of the time. it was so fun for me to do, but, as i got older, i began to criticize myself a lot for it. i didn’t have much skill or technique, so i’d compare my work to other people’s. i also lack the ability (for now) to create art without referencing a photo. i eventually gave it up because it frustrated me too much.

recently, i began to draw again at the beginning of this year. i had a new perspective and told myself to be gentle with my mind and my work. i haven’t put in the time or effort it takes to be good at drawing / painting, so of course i won’t be good at it. but just drawing a little bit every day has been fun for me.

as you all know (if you haven’t realized), i watched love through a prism recently. i won’t go off on a long tangent about how it’s probably one of the best anime of 2026 and an absolutely gorgeous anime (but i can if you want), but it’s all about art. it inspired me to take the leap and invest in some art supplies. i just want to create in some way and not compare to others. some day, i’d love to get into digital art, but that’s a story for another day.

thanks for reading my whole rant on my new old hobby 🤗🤎

happy september 🍁

it’s my favorite time of the year, fall! i’m excited for this fall season (especially for the cooler weather). yesterday, the sequel to one of my favorite books came out, and i zoomed over to my bookstore and got the special edition which is just BEAUTIFUL! i spent all night reading, annotating, and marking it up. it’s the first time in too long that i’ve sat down to read a traditional book. i’ve read many manga and manhwa and comics, but i’ve been struggling to read traditional books for some time now! i’m hoping this will get me back into it because i’m so behind on many books that i’ve bought and haven’t read!!

HAPPY HAIKYU!! DAY!! 🧡🏐

i will always celebrate this amazing day and always my haikyu best friend, @cozywberfin ! i had haikyu on my watchlist for a long time, but i didn’t want to start it quite yet because at the time it was only available subbed. little did i know i was just waiting for the right person to give me the little push i needed to watch it, and i’m so glad it turned out that way! berfin and i have had so much fun watching and fanning over haikyu 🤭 it’s my favorite, and it truly has added to my life so much! it makes me so so happy that i get to share my love for it with you all and even appreciate all the different quotes from the anime every week 🫶

to everyone who celebrates, happy haikyu!! day!
(also, there is an announcement today for the haikyu movie/show coming next year!!)

yamaguchi’s serve made even the people rooting for aoba johsai cheer !

his hard work, dedication, and tenacity got him to that point. he served more than anyone during practice. he knew that was his greatest tool, and boy did he use it! i remember when that first serve didn’t make it over. my heart broke for him. after all that training and practice, he must’ve felt heartbroken. but, he didn’t give up. if anything, he was even more determined!

kita finally became a part of the team after all his hard work and commitment 🤧

i absolutely love kita. he is so underrated, and i so wish he had more screen time. he’s such a relatable character and teaches a valuable perspective of life that many results are byproducts of our daily routines. he worked hard every day for years despite not being an actual player, and that’s what made him so reliable and dependable. he practiced again and again and firmly believed that, whatever you could do during practice, you can do in a game.

the caption is not an exaggeration. when i finally saw him get picked, nonetheless as the CAPTAIN, i truly did get emotional. if anyone deserved it, it was him. and you could tell how everyone on the team respected him and depended on him especially after their last game. our kita baby becoming a true player will always make me emotional 😭 i love him so much.
