Summer Scuffle 26’💜

Thank you @moimpacthq for the opportunity to be part of such an incredible team. This tournament was an experience I’ll never forget, from the atmosphere and competition to the people who made it so special.

Being surrounded by a team full of absolute hammers was an honor. Everyone showed up, pushed each other, and left everything on the mat. The support, energy, and belief we had in each other was unmatched, and seeing it all come together with a tournament championship made it even more rewarding.

As this chapter comes to a close, I’m incredibly grateful that my final time competing for Missouri was alongside such talented, hardworking, and genuinely great people. Thank you to my teammates, coaches, and everyone who has been part of the journey. These last 4 years i’ve given my blood sweat and tears to a sport not knowing if it’ll become of anything. Despite doubts, injuries, mental health struggles and life in general, i’m thankful to end my senior year placing 5th at state. But oh what i’d do to have just one more practice, hard sprint, weigh in, long late bus rides or just one more high school match. Thank you to my practice partners, team, and coaches who’ve supported and pushed me even when I just wanted to be done.
To my team; heads up through everything, i’m so incredibly proud to spend these last years with such amazing people. From freshman year watching athletes like chase, ellie, and emma, to senior year and watching my littles, natalie, jay and alayna make a name for themselves, I wouldn’t want to be around anyone else.
I don’t know what the future will hold, so for now, thank you and goodbye wrestling. by @ashh.ree

For the last 4 years, i’ve had the privilege of being apart of the Staley Girls Wrestling team. Every early morning, every hard practice, every win, every loss led to this moment. Wrestling taught me discipline, resilience, and how to fight for myself and my team even when it hurt. So grateful for the coaches who pushed me, the teammates who became family, the strangers who became friends and the memories that will stay forever. This journey wasn’t easy, from stepping on the mat for the first time to standing here now, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined. Thank you to all the coaches, teammates and families who have been there every step of my journey and supported me through it all. I’m not ready do say goodbye yet, but this isn’t the end. by @ashh.ree

Never did I imagine myself apart of an organization like SkillsUSA, let alone competing in l a national competition. From becoming a state champ to representing my state and placing 14th out of 37 teams at nations, i’m beyond grateful for everything my advisors, family & friends, and team has done for me because I wouldn’t be here without any of them. While i didn’t do how i wanted, this trip has been a very memorable experience i’ll never forget. Made new friends, got into pin trading and even became stranded at the airport because Delta cancelled our flights home. Everything on this trip has made me a better person today and i’m sad to leave some of my friends behind. Summer Scuffle 25’. Had an amazing team, time and coaching staff, didn’t do how i wanted, went 6-2, but “You won’t win until you learn how to lose”. My incredibly talented team, Lady Falcons, took 6th outta 26 teams. Thankful for my coaches, the oak park coaches and the @jacksoncountywrestling coaches for all the advise and support.
