our little firefighter crew reporting for duty ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿš’ this was supposed to be the full lookโ€ฆ but the fire truck ended up in the stroller all evening ๐Ÿ˜‚ the real horror of the night was watching him pass up a perfectly good twix for an almond joy โ˜ ๏ธ by @ashhleats
we love getting fruit and jams from @cosentinofamilyfarm, so glad we finally discovered their pumpkin patch this year ๐ŸŽƒ smaller, no frills, and blissfully uncrowded ๐Ÿ˜‚ perfect backdrop for photos ๐Ÿฅฐ #bayareapumpkinpatch #pumpkinpatch #fallishere by @ashhleats

already been a week since his birthday and iโ€™m still in disbelief. how has it already been 2 years ๐Ÿ˜ญ surprised him with all his favorite thingsโ€ฆ only for him to blow out his candle and immediately have a meltdown ๐Ÿ˜‚ i guess thatโ€™s our welcome to terrible twos ๐Ÿ˜‚ #toddlermomlife #toddlerbirthday #twoyearold by @ashhleats
ok fine the 8 hours spent building this for his birthday was worth it ๐Ÿ˜‚ except weโ€™ve already had a number of tantrums because he keeps saying he wants to go inside LOL #musicbox #woodenpuzzle #diycrafts by @ashhleats
Aidan LOVES tofu, so we almost just stuck a candle in a plain block of tofu for his cake this year ๐Ÿ˜‚ But I really wanted to make it construction themed somehow since heโ€™s obsessed with construction vehicles, so ground pork and cake toppers saved the day! It was actually so easy to put together and Aidan loveddddd it ๐Ÿฅฐ #birthdaycake #toddlersbirthday #toddlerboy by @ashhleats
POV: you received a nice box of chocolates but you have a toddler, so now itโ€™s a toy car storage system ๐Ÿ˜‚ #toddlerboy #boymom #toycars by @ashhleats

This is my go-to โ€œI only have 5 minutes to prep dinnerโ€ recipe ๐Ÿ˜‚ Just throw everything into the rice cooker and dinner will be ready in an hour ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Save this for your next busy weeknight! โœจ - 2 cups of rice (w/ normal amount of water) - 2 tbsp light soy sauce - 2 tbsp oyster sauce - 1/2 cup corn - 1/2 cup peas - 4 oz. salmon filet - black pepper - 2 tbsp butter (donโ€™t skip this!!) #weeknightrecipes #easyrecipes #toddlermeals by @ashhleats
Park City in the summer with a toddler is a 10/10 ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Save these kid-friendly spots for your next trip: ๐Ÿ“ Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter (great interactive fun!) ๐Ÿ“ Park City Library (awesome indoor play area, and they have 3 adorable guinea pigs!) ๐Ÿ“ Creekside Park (toddler friendly with shade) #ParkCity #UtahTravel #ToddlerTravel #FamilyTravel by @ashhleats
I fear having a toddler has officially turned us into outdoorsy people ๐Ÿ˜‚ Not a bad thing by any means! Itโ€™s just so funny thinking about how different our travel preferences are now compared to a few years ago. We initially really wanted to do a one week trip to the Dolomites this summer. But with a toddler, the travel hassle, time difference, and cost just didnโ€™t seem worth it. So I was searching on Reddit for domestic spots with similar scenery and Utah and Colorado kept popping up as the top two recommendations ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Park City was great ๐Ÿคฉ I know itโ€™s more of a winter destination for most people, but highly recommend going in the summer!! Thereโ€™s so much to do, and the scenery is just as beautiful. Also, thank god itโ€™s true what they say about never forgetting how to ride a bike ๐Ÿ˜‚ I canโ€™t remember the last time I rode one, and somehow this ended up being the most enjoyable (and scenic) bike ride Iโ€™ve ever been on. ๐Ÿšฒ๐Ÿ”๏ธ #parkcity #parkcityutah #utahtravels by @ashhleats
