I’m feeling so grateful to be apart of the first art exhibit at the Netflix Animation Studios. It’s surreal to see my work hung up. Special thank you to everyone supporting my art. I appreciate y’all so much. 🥹☮️ by @ashislikesocool

¡Feliz día de independencia, Guatemala! It was such an honor to participate and show case my art in last nights inauguration ceremony at the Los Angeles, Guatemalan Consulate. I’m so grateful for my Mayan ancestors for always guiding me to where I’m suppose to be and blessed to have had the opportunity to cut the ribbon. It was so special having my parents there. I will cherish this memory forever. ☮️ 🇬🇹 #guatemalanartist #guatemala #guatemalaindependenceday by @ashislikesocool

10 year old me is so proud. I never thought I’d have a board with my name on it. Yet alone get awarded by the city because of skateboarding. Special shout out to my older sister @lunaxtine for giving me my first board and to @csef for having me on the team.

I’m truly so grateful to be on this journey with CSEF. Words can’t describe how proud I am for all the great work we’re doing.

Looking forward to giving more skateboarders college scholarships this year!

Stay tuned! ☮️🫶🏼 by @ashislikesocool

“When I first started Cafe Mundo I wanted each event to feel like you’re coming to your favorite tias house. With the primos you hardly get to see and the neighbors who over stay their welcome. Cafe Mundo is meant to be a fun place where learning happens and all are welcome.”

Ixchel, the Maya Goddess, is multifaceted to say the least she looks over the lunar cycles, fertility, medicine and healing, weaving, water, rain and storms, and the dual forces of life and death.

Her name translates to: “Ix” means Lady, and “Chel” translates to Rainbow = Lady Rainbow which while filming this I didn’t realize the reflection on the canvas was reflecting a rainbow.

It might just be a coincidence but something inside makes me feel as if she was there. To date this is my favorite art piece I’ve ever had the pleasure to create.

Honor your ancestors y’all. They’re always watching and guiding you. Keep them alive. ☮️🫶🏽

Spanglish, art, and pure vibes with Ash! 🎨✨ In this interview, she opens up about being a creative visionary, keeping that childlike joy alive through her unique one-shape wonder style, and what she looks for in an ideal collector.
A great reminder to keep the playfulness and intention alive in everything we create. 🖌️💖

Exhibiting my art in a gallery was on my manifestation list this year, and seeing it come true is an indescribable feeling. My heart is so full of love and gratitude. 🥺

So grateful for my best friend for always believing in me, speaking my name in rooms I’m not in, and being one of my biggest inspirations. This wouldn’t have happen without you. 🫶🏽

I appreciate everyone who showed up to support me. There are no words to describe how it feels to have your loved ones all in one space.

Thank you, Kelly, for curating this exhibition at Eastern Columbia Gallery and for the beautiful energy you radiate. Seeing my art exhibited alongside so many incredible artists is a dream.

The exhibit will be running for a few more weeks.

Go check it out ☮️😇
