Happy 1st birthday to the baby of the fam 🥲 Kaizy boy you are the funniest little bub, always doing everything you can to get a laugh out of us all. You’re such a chill little dude but also keep us on our toes by climbing on anything, getting into everything and thinking you’re one of the big kids. Today we said goodbye to our first baby Khan 🥺
Almost 14 years ago we picked him up, the morning after Clay’s 21st. We brought him to our newly moved into home and spent the next 11 years there with him. He first had to adjust to life with a baby around, and then 2. He always treated them as his own, so gentle and loving even when they sat on him and pulled his tail and ears.
Then we moved him across the country to our new home in GC and he was an absolute trooper in the car the whole way up. We got to spend another 3 years with him in our new home, and had another baby for him to love and steal all the food scraps off 😝 even in his old age he was still as gentle as ever.
I know everyone says it but he really was the best dog ever. From the crazy puppy stealing food out of the bin, ripping out all the plants and eating all our things, to the old man spending his days laid out on the couch and only getting up to eat.. We will love you forever Khany, thank you for being the best dog we could ever have wished for 🥺💔 by @ashleelpowell

A big year for zaydy.. broke his first bone, lost his first tooth, started school, became a big brother, shaved his head! He’s done so much growing up 😭
