Obligatory welcome to the new year.
Last year sucked so terribly, medically, physically, financially, jobs were lost, I had to move out of home, I almost had to give away my dogs to protect their own future while putting money into their vet bills and my body bleeding out quite literally. But the year brought opportunity. I worked more, I met some amazing creatives, I got my drivers license at the ripe age of 27, I live with my partner and still have my dogs by my side and most of all I’m alive and still on my endless cycle of job hunting. Despite all the struggle when I look back on the year, it’s hard for me to comprehend it all happened in the last year, because so much opportunity has arose I almost forget the struggle. I hope 2026 is the end of a cycle and the beginning of something better. I’m starting to make art again, I’m focusing on my health and my self care and maybe, hopefully, financial struggle will become a thing of the past ❤️ good luck out there soldiers, get that Battle Royale by @ashleeritson
