I’ve been so emotional since getting home Monday. This past weekend was unlike anything else, and I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to put into words how special it was.A festival created JUST THIS ONCE. We arrived Saturday so hyped, ready for what we thought would be an unforgettable night. The set I’d been anticipating the most was unreal. And just as we all thought we were about to experience the drop of a lifetime, the lyrics “turn off the lights” took on a whole new meaning. The music cut out, the lights came on, and we were all left in complete shock. Then the screens came on and we were told to evacuate. By the time we made it to the shuttles, it was pouring. We stood in the rain for over an hour before finally getting on. Some of our friends walked for hours in the rain trying to get to Ubers, while campers were told to shelter in their cars. We were all exhausted, defeated, and left wondering what would happen next.Then Sunday morning came, and we had no idea what to expect. The rain cleared, Calvin Harris was added to the lineup, and somehow we ended up with what felt like the most epic one-day lineup EVER. 😭🔥The Blessed Madonna was off, Peggy was on for a second set, and she absolutely killed it. Dom and KETTAMA were SO much fun to watch. Seeing them genuinely having the time of their lives up there was exactly what I want to see as a fan. • T H I R T Y N I N E •

I am beyond blessed to be surrounded by so many incredible humans. Words can’t fully capture the emotions I’m holding as I step into the final year of my thirties.

My life doesn’t look the way I once imagined it would. There have been moments—weeks, even years—when I questioned where I went wrong or why I wasn’t where I thought I should be. But life isn’t meant to look any way other than your way. And I am so deeply grateful for the life I’ve created—and continue to create—for myself.

January humbled and challenged my family in a big way, as my dad spent most of the month in the hospital. It was a powerful reminder of how precious life is, and how easily we forget to cherish time with the people we love most.

This year, I chose to leave LA’s beautiful weather and freeze my ass off in NYC, surrounded by some of my favorite humans in the world (outside of my family). And it was so worth it.

Thank you to everyone who reached out, showed up, and made me feel so incredibly loved.(I may have cried a little from the sweet words i received) I can’t wait to see what this final chapter of this decade has in store taken in New York, New York by @ashleezakar

Still on such a high from Saturday night… I fell in love with @rufusdusol when I saw them 4 years ago at BMO and getting to experience them making history at the rose bowl with some of my favorite people is an experience I’ll never forget! 1 year ago today I brought home the sweetest little 4 legged baby girl. Most of the people around me encouraged me not to, my family didn’t think I was ready, but Olivia has been my greatest accomplishment yet! The first few months were really difficult, lots of vet appointments, lots of tears, but a love i didn’t know I needed. She is my real life teddy bear and I want her to be a baby forever!!! by @ashleezakar
