I hope it doesn't go wrong.

I hope we continue to homeschool. I hope my kids see the benefits of having a life where they get to experience the world differently than those around them.

But if we don't do this again, at least we can say we tried. And I would recommend it to anyone.

Sure some days are harder than others, but I like the adventure. I like the challenge of figuring it out. I like the closeness of being with my kids more.

But we will see...

Those who homeschool, what can you share that you've learned?

One of my favorite things about homeschooling is discovering resources that help bring learning to life! 🎨

Our local library’s Makerspace is a great place to explore new ideas, get creative, try different tools, and learn new skills. Whether it’s working on a fun project or experimenting with something new, there are so many opportunities for kids to learn beyond our books.

Homeschooling doesn’t mean sitting at the table doing schoolwork all day. Sometimes the best learning happens when the kids get to create and explore.

If you homeschool, take some time to see what your local library has to offer. You might be surprised by all the amazing resources available right in your own community!

Using @opawz hair paste, we colored a cow!

Neither of us have ever used the paste before so we were in for a new adventure.

All colors are animal safe and non-toxic.

How did we do?

I mean...everyone seems to know the rules...except her older brother 😤

What do we think of our groovy girl?! 🐮🧡

I’ve been having WAY too much fun stepping outside of my comfort zone with creative grooming lately, and this was definitely a challenge but I came out pretty decent for what we were working with 🐮

Still learning, still experimenting, and already thinking about what I want to create next. 😂

All color was created using pet-safe OPAWZ products, because looking groovy should never come at the expense of comfort. 🤎

Don't get me wrong, I love being with my kids...but also this millennial mom grew up in the club. Where do you think I met my husband 😜

Some days you may not feel the biggest or the baddest, but that doesn't mean you aren't worthy of being there too.

I had some anxiety and some severe imposter syndrome kick in over the weekend and I had to remind myself that I am allowed to be there. I am good at what I do, and I will work my butt off to get what I want.

Looking back on how far I've come, in not only my professional skills but also my personal people skills, I'm reminded of all the opportunities and experiences I missed out on because of my anxiety and I tell myself that I'm not going to do that to myself anymore...and also, who cares? You won't get where you want to be if you're too scared.

If you've ever had a fear or anxiety about being somewhere or doing something, just remember you're not alone. Drop a ❤️ so others can know they're not alone too.
