Saying goodbye is never easy. Today we said goodbye to our beloved bulldog. She has been such a great part of our family for the last nine years between traveling with us to many states, going on camping trips, taking many naps with snoring, being there for big life milestones as well as big life tribulations, learning to ride many vehicles (skateboard, paddleboard, & side by side) and always showing us unconditional love. She will be very missed and was a great companion throughout the years. I’m so glad I advocated to give “ugly Betty” a chance. We love you Piper keep chasing those cats and ride your skateboard into the clouds 🤍 taken in English Bulldog by @ashley.stranathan

By far my favorite week as a counselor. So many rewarding moments. Very thankful to share the love of God with middle schoolers!! Elkhorn valley always holds a special place in my heart.

Had to save the best for last. I made some pretty awesome friends through nursing, basketball & volleyball at hiram!! I’m feeling very grateful to have them by my side for the past four years. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of friends & look forward to seeing where life takes us all! 💙 #goterriers🐾 by @ashley.stranathan

All of these people pictured have been there for me through thick and thin. They have loved me unconditionally and I am so blessed to have such a great support system.
It’s a special Mother’s Day, my mom has inspired me to follow in her footsteps and she even got to pin me yesterday! I have really appreciated being able to share nursing stories with her. She has shown me how to love others unconditionally, with compassion and use her servants heart in her day to day interactions with patients.
I would also like to give a special thanks to my grandparents the ones here today and the other two watching from heaven. They have been one of my biggest inspirations to follow my dreams and become the woman I am today. I am very thankful for the relationship I have with them and hope to encourage the younger generations to cherish their older family members.
My final thank you is to God, I was given the gift of a servant’s heart which will be put to good use into the profession I am entering in. He has given me the strength and courage to continue on through it all.
I plan to use my positive attitude and gift of encouragement with the little patients and families on the infant/toddler unit at akron children’s hospital ❤️ by @ashley.stranathan
