Happy birthday to my baby girl!!!! 33 looks good on you! You are more than my niece…you have been one of my biggest supporters, my friend, my lifeline and I am so blessed to have you in my life. You are a go getter, a great mother, the life of every occasion. You bring joy to every room you step in.

You are the go to person for those tough conversations and for a good laugh😁.

Woman Crush Wednesday…

The series of me highlighting dope women in our community.

If they have a business, spreading positivity, expanding their content creation, making music, or just dope in general, I will be featuring them. The expectation is for us to be social again and start building community.

This week I am highlighting Dani aka @_splenda_

Dani is an inspiration, a philanthropist, a doer and motivator. She drops gems daily and inspires her community to show up for themselves.

She shows her shortcomings but also shows us how to get right back in track. There is no “wo is me” attitude.

As the creator of @splendapaysitforward and @100_daysofeffort she’s also building a community of givers/helpers/supporters.

@splendapaysitforward is an initiative that has given back to so many deserving people and it continues to grow because of the effort Dani has invested into its mission. @100_daysofeffort keeps us focused on short term goals that we want to achieve. #

Harper’s Cafe is a dope vibe with great food and drinks. It’s a place of comfort for you to do work in or a place to meet up with your girls or guys for a Saturday brunch.

You will always feel the hospitality when you walk into Harper’s Cafe. The owner, Garan, is energetic, fun and courteous. He will make you feel right at home.

This week I am highlighting @cindellesbooks.

Cindelle is an educator, an entrepreneur and a reader’s reader. She is so full of positive energy and she brings that to her bookstore.

If you are looking to start reading again, want to join an in person book club, or build community I recommend coming to one of Cindelle’s many events.

I forgot to mention that she also has administrative days for you to come and get some work done at your leisure without any of the at-home distractions.

Being part of this community has given me a new beat of life and has brought me back to the joy of reading I once had. by @ashley_danetta

They have curated a space where it’s truly a peaceful vibe of dope people getting together to do dope things.

The environment they have created makes you feel at home. I love the idea of doing fun things outside of going out to a turn up…even though they do get a little turned up sometimes lol.

But they also provide an outlet for up and coming artist to showcase their talents and that’s pretty amazing.

So follow them, see what they’re up to and become part of the community. by @ashley_danetta
