Celebrated the life of the most incredible man! Learning so much more about him then the amazing things I already knew. And gaining such a deep appreciation to share his last name and that my son continues a to carry on the last name which means, good humans, strong faith, and care for your people more then anything else! Closed a chapter of motherhood this week. All my kids are in school all day. Having all sorts of emotions. But what I’m feeling most is… which might come across wrong or like an ego thing. Is I’m really proud of myself 🤣🥲 The baby phase was my favorite but raising kids in this time of life feels impossible most days. Ive struggled multiple times with post partum depression, miscarriages, health worries and constant fear of everything that can go wrong and that I can’t protect them from everything. Motherhood forgets to come with a “crippling anxiety” warning 🙃
It certainly is way more chaotic and many imperfect moments. But in all those days raising these babies has made me feel more fulfilled more then anything. These years have held the most precious and sacred moments. And I’m certainly grieving saying bye to those years and how fast it went .

I’m grateful my kids give me grace when I have had some pretty major Menty B’s along the way. 🥴But our family has made it this far, and my kids are turning out to be some pretty special humans. And I can’t wait to where life takes them. I’m proud of us @colin_forbes 💛

Now what mommas want to have some day time play dates with me!? 😂😜 excited to pick up a new hobby or two! 💛 by @ashley_forbes

Decided this needed a permanent spot. As it’s proof I can be domestic when I reeeeaaaallllllyyyyyyy put my mind to it. It’s the only thing I don’t ruin basically when I cook cause it’s really easy. And many have asked for the recipe so…. Here! Chips and salsa are my love language.

DISCLAIMER** promise me you’re washing it down with a Diet Coke with lime or it won’t taste as good. #facts

1lb tomatillos
2 fresh limes squeezed
1 Tbsp garlic
1/2 pack of taco seasoning or 1 tbs Cumin
1 onion chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
I use my blender, works great 👍

My beautiful Pait 🤍 This is her last studio solo, and of course I’m crying typing this. Her solo this year was out of her powerhouse comfort zone and challenged her to find her artistry in dance. She was stunning at every performance and her work ethic an drive to do her best was so amazing to watch. I am beyond proud of her! Thank you so much nikole.yates for the stunning choreography and believing in her! And special thanks to @sierrarochellebrown for challenging, supporting her and pushing her to her fullest potential always! And @melissa.r.ross for continuing to see her worth not only as a dancer but as a human and helping her reach her goals! @ron_bon24 you mentored this cutie 5th grader who loved dance into the dancer she is today, where would we be without all of you! 😭So many other teachers and mentors I could go on and on.

But as a mom, the biggest blessing through dance is the strong, confident and kind women and friends she has been surrounded by. And seeing the beautiful human she has become is the biggest reward! Can’t wait to see what high school brings! by @ashley_forbes
