Eight years ago, I wanted a clean, high quality nail service and really good drinks. I couldn’t find a place that did both the way I envisioned, so Verbena was born.

I’m a perfectionist, which means I’m never fully done tweaking, adjusting, and dreaming up ways to make it better. This place is always evolving, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. We show up, we learn, we refine, and we try to outdo yesterday just a little bit.

I’ve poured my heart, time, energy, and savings into this, but none of it would be possible without my family, the Verbena team (past and current), our vendors, and our incredible clients. Along the way, I hope I’ve shared some wisdom, mentored others, and left a little sage behind.

I’m deeply grateful and truly humbled by the support. Cheers to another great year and many more ahead. Let’s go 2026 ✨

I couldn’t stop thinking about my favorite interior designers, @nhu_hue and @edgar_gabaldon, while staying at Hotel August in Antwerp. Once a 19th-century military hospital run by nuns, it’s been beautifully restored and reimagined by Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen.

The space is a perfect expression of quiet luxury, elegant in its restraint, rich in history, and full of thoughtful, intentional details. Arched windows, soft tones, warm textures, and that seamless blend of old and new… it’s so me. No wonder I love it so much. 🤭

It felt like a deep exhale after the bustling energy of Paris; it’s calm, grounded, and beautifully curated. A reminder that great design doesn’t shout; it whispers, and stays with you long after you’ve left. ✨ taken in Antwerp, Belgium by @ashley_tran__
