Hunter’s mom 🖤__After trying for several years + suffering a miscarriage last year on Mother’s Day, this past January we had come to peace with it just being us + Dakota. Shortly there after, I chopped off my hair and stepped into my “loving + leaning into me unconditionally” era. A time to remember who I was, release a lot of old trauma + be free to be myself, wholly and unapologetically. And then in March, we took a trip to Florida…Leading up to our weekend getaway, I hadn’t been feeling the best. I casually mentioned to E that we should take a test when we get back if I didn’t feel better - truly not thinking much of it.Well… three tests later, several tears of joy + utter shock, we found out our wildest dream had come true - we were having a baby!The first few weeks were filled with worry but the feeling of relief [ and joy ] to hear a strong heartbeat + see him wiggling around for the first time… my god. 37wks later - here we are patiently waiting for our little guy’s arrival. We are so thankful that Hunter chose us to be his parents, to guide him through life + love on him unconditionally.
