Come for Cher. Stay for The Dark Lady. This is easily one of my favorite things that I have ever done. Ashley Chavarria @ashleychavarria is a brilliant artist and STAR. To create on and for her is a remarkable blessing. She has it all. Strength, , determination, sex, technique, power, dynamics and the best attitude in the business. She is a literal dream for a choreographer. Thank you for making this beautiful dream of mine a reality, Ash! I will take you with me always. So much love for my powerhouse men for accomplishing everything I asked and more. And doing it all with intention and fire in your blood. You smiled through the pain and made what seemed impossible... possible. And to have our two rockstar leading men singing for the rafters through it all. We love you, Beau & Connie! Big love to Elle & Ryan for helping to create and clean our showstopper! @ellemaypatterson @ryanperrymarks And to Angela for the years of lift exchange. @angela_raerae GO TEAM DANCE! What a wonderful honor to stand alongside my brilliant friend and colleague, Lyndon Pugeda, to create this show. I'll never stop thanking Steve Glaudini & the Moonlight staff for the gift of this show. You have four more chances to get to The Moonlight Amphitheatre. We close on Saturday. by @ashleychavarria

The science behind all the different methods of recovery never cease to fascinate me. @lorin.ferrellatc is the BEES KNEES (or in my case bees ankles). Thank you for getting me back to doing what I love in record time! by @ashleychavarria

From the studio floor to the first dress rehearsal!✨ Dark Lady was easily one of our favorite numbers in The Cher Show at Moonlight Stage Productions and the audience reaction made every single step worth it!

Several people have asked me for the whole number. So here it is. The entire Dark Lady. It's my favorite thing that I have ever created. Huge love to Steve, Elle May, RPM, Lyndon, Constantine, Beau, Ashley and the incredible men of The Cher Show for making it happen. -------------------------------- I could do this show over and over again. Regional theatres... hit me up!

Dark Lady…

Good things start at the top, and with @nikkisnelsonaugh, @lyndonpugeda, @sm.melissabonilla and @stevenglaudini up there, anything less than greatness is impossible.

Nikki, your energy and devotion is infectious. It creates an environment that demands success—a supportive, creative, free, encouraging, motivating, FIERCE environment. You bring a cast, crew and show together like family. I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with this part. Dark Lady and The Cher Show as a whole surpassed all expectations, including my own (which, knowing you were in charge, were already high). From the very first rehearsal experimenting lift after lift, to the very last performance, I couldn’t dream of a better experience. I will sing your praises everywhere forever.
P.S. I still can’t believe we did that.

Lyndon, you’re a superhuman. The most incredible musical multitasker, prankster and fellow dolphin I know. 🐬

Melissa, also a superhuman. How does one person keep an entire group such as ours organized, laughing AND supplied with pickles day after day???

Steve, the opportunities you’ve given me have created many of my fondest memories. @moonlightstage is truly a second home to me. Thank you thank you thank you.

Not to mention these ABSOLUTE STUDS who threw me around night after night. @ryanperrymarks @troyozuna59 @leiluakruse @4evertrell @t.rex.rawr @holasoyedvan @andy_beynolds @johnnie_321
I am in constant admiration of all of you. How did y’all make that look so easy!? I am seriously the luckiest dance partner in the entire world.

Special shout out to @ryanperrymarks the dance captain extraordinaire, @thedjmaloney the SM legend and all our friends backstage. Couldn’t have done it without y’all.

What a blessing. Until next time, Dark Lady. 🖤

A caption isn’t a place fit to express how much this person means to me, so I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. What I will say is… I love you with all that I am. I can’t wait for all the other yeses we’ll share in this life. 🌻

Huge thank you to @kalin_goodsite_productions for capturing the moment and @lyssa_loo_hoo and @julsie85 for helping make this happen! by @ashleychavarria

⚠️ Not made to be a performative video ⚠️
Just thought it’s cool to have a glimpse into a day in the life of a choreographer prepping for their next class. Tired, sweaty and still tryna kick this dang laryngitis, yet what was supposed to be a video just to help me remember my choreo turned into a little dance sesh that made my heart happy. Here’s to celebrating our processes and all their imperfections. (I gotta good one for ya at the end 😉) by @ashleychavarria
