To say I’m blessed is an understatement. This journey wasn’t easy but every late night, every challenge, and crash out over midterm and final exam week was worth it. I’m so grateful for the mentors who guided me and the friendships that carried me through. I’ll cherish them forever.
First and foremost, I give all thanks to the Lord for guiding me, strengthening me, and carrying me through every step of this journey. A special thank you to my friends and family who held me down and supported me through it all. I truly couldn’t have done this without you. I’m forever grateful to my HBCU for providing me with a space to truly thrive and grow into not only a better person, but a better clinician for my patients.
This one is for the little girl who had the odds stacked against her.
For the girl who was told she wasn’t smart or good enough.
Through strength and perseverance, I will be the first doctor in my family. Finishing in the top 20% of my class.
Never let anyone dim your light. You are, and always have been, more than enough. 🤍

Stepping into this next chapter covered in His grace.
Through every trial and tribulation, I never want to forget my purpose to serve others. I’m grateful for the journey, no matter how rough it’s been, because every step led me here.
