THIS MAN IS A HERO. 🇺🇸
NBC News reports that Kaylub Giamanco, 36, has been identified by his own brother as the armed father who stopped the gunman at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon.
And the details are extraordinary.
Kaylub wasn’t even picking up his children. He was driving home for lunch when he heard gunfire, saw the suspect enter the school, and made the decision to intervene with his concealed firearm.
He’s a carpenter. A father of two little girls who attend that very school. And an ordinary American who demonstrated extraordinary courage.
But here’s the heartbreaking part.

According to his brother, Kaylub doesn’t even consider himself a hero. He’s struggling with the thought that he couldn’t save more people.
Kaylub, you didn’t fail those children. You stepped up when their lives were in danger.
This is why the Second Amendment matters. This is why good people being armed matters.
Praying for Kaylub, the injured children, and every family affected by this horrific tragedy. ❤️🇺🇸

🚨BREAKING — IT’S OFFICIAL!

PD CHIEF: “The suspect had been shot by a COMMUNITY MEMBER who had seen the suspect enter the school, pursued him into the school, and engaged him.”

“Our officers entered the building and confirmed the suspect was DEAD.”

Without the courage and bravery of an armed Good Samaritan hero who saw the shooter enter the school and pursued him, risking his own life, the terrible death toll would be unimaginably higher.

Absolute legend. God bless him.
