What a gift the last week @beond.us has been, having the privilege to journey with incredible plant medicine Ibogaine.
For many years now I have passionately committed to discovering wellness modalities to counteract the stresses of life and naturally eager to discover the most powerful tools, not just to feel better in the moment with alternative soothing activities yet to really unearth the 'where' or 'why' I've had these kinds of depression, anxiety, disorders or this particular kind of attachment etc.
The last year of my life, being alongside my mother's ALS journey and her transition into the realm of spirit, has been the most challenging yet illuminating, spiritually connected and as I often found myself saying 'painfully beautiful' experiences.
Mum, naturally making deep inquiry into her self and the 'how' and 'why' she found herself where she was, looking to desperately heal, not just her aggressively progressive physical symptoms yet also her previously acknowledged underlying pain and suffering that lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms and poor health.
What become present to me over this time was the things being revealed in mum, I also saw in myself and that those too ultimately came from my grandmother, passed down through generational trauma and patterning. There was a lot to digest and so much happening at once yet I innately knew after mums passing that I wanted to sit with plant medicine and dive deeper into what had been stirred up and left unresolved, and Ibogaine answered my hearts call. Ibogaine is a medication derived from the root bark of the west African shrub known as Iboga, that for hundreds of years the indigenous African people have ingested for its spiritual and healing properties, most often going in with the intention to connect with their ancestors as a 'rites of passage' to heal the unhealed and gain wisdom as they move forward into the next big chapter of their lives. I went in with this intention; to connect with mum, my ancestors and see what need be seen, held and healed. And Ibogaine honestly exceeded my expectations. My hearts shouting from the moutain tops with glee to share this most powerful tool and healing modality! by @ashleyhart

Mother’s Day can bring such a mix of emotions - love, happiness, joy, but sometimes longing, grief and sadness. We send our love to all mothers or those wishing to be mothers at this time. In a very special tribute to Mother’s Day this week on @boobtofood the podcast we are joined by the beautiful @ashleyhart who so beautifully and vulnerably shares her journey to becoming a mother in the same year that she lost her own mother ❤️ this is such a powerful episode and we feel so honoured to share Ashley’s story and wisdom. We hope you love the conversation as much as we did. by @ashleyhart

As the clock turns over midnight, from 69 to 70 kisses on your cheeks to celebrate your earth side birthday. Your famed birthday song whispers in my ear, as I light a candle on your birthday table, these transitions you created that I now hold so dear. The sun rises here on the other side of the world, beaming in my window, affirming you are here. I bow down in such reverence for your undeniable radiance from the heavens.. I feel you most in the warmth, unconditional and fierce love from the sun. Restless last night, I toss and turn thinking of you, asking for your guidance as I spiral over my own life.. sometimes I hear it and sometimes I don’t, but last night it just added fuel to the flames by the deep ache of missing you. And knowing, that the challenges I move through as a mother now, wouldn’t have been so intense with your physical presence and support, especially that endless encouragement and “no bullshit” way of being- which you would have surely forced me to be a bit more like as a mother myself ;) Sometimes I want to yell and beat the chest of the earth for you not being here, and yet in the next wave that crashes, I somehow surf and trust life’s way.. and connect with you, like now, felt in my heart, forever blood stained with the imprint of your being. A friend said to me the other day, you grieve the way you love, and it made me think, both have been too quiet. I never told you enough what a force of love, strength and mother you were for me, as do I not let you know enough now, how much I pain for you, or dance with you in life’s shadows. Today I want to be loud, the way you are. And maybe say too much, the way you often did. Never letting an important moment go without acknowledgment. I’ll let it be imperfect and messy, with a spirit that pierces through it all (as you were), in celebration of YOU, my amazing Rae of sunshine. Hip hip harray, as you’d say.. and a broken and a beautiful Hallelujah! For all who know the Steiner birthday song (as i know many of you do ;) please join me in singing.. “To you we sing and thankfulness we bring, to celebrate your birth, you’re an angel here on earth.” Blessings and love Mamah Hart 🤍🧚🏽‍♀️ by @ashleyhart

I believe on some level this is every mother’s story, or possibly modern society as a whole, stuck in survival mode, a nervous system that doesn’t know any other way of being. We never stop thinking, planning, anticipating… and the voice of our soul, stifling beneath it all. Wanting to be seen, supported, and as a base, to feel peace within our own homes. Yet as I discovered through working with Dr. Michael, somatic therapy giving me back a relationship with my body, medicine work alongside ancient shamanic practices, I was moving from a place that wasn’t mine. Cut off from ever feeling like I could rest, relax, or be. Controlling everything I possibly could, to feel safe. Through these profound practices, I was able to dissolve beyond what felt so right and true in my fixed reality. A full nervous system reset, a profound healing, a clarity I can now never not know. Integration hasn’t been easy, yet this is where the real work begins. As what I was holding so tightly began to soften, I could clearly see the foundation of my life wasn’t working, and the feelings I was avoiding were here to be felt. Yet I feel equipped, a connection to my soul, my angels and spirit guides, and knowing Dr. Michael is here, holding space through it all. Here’s what I see now: from that survival place, I couldn’t actually be seen, or supported, or create the peace I was seeking. This shift has allowed me to become an inviting space instead, to show the real experience I’m moving through, rather than projecting “never enough” onto everyone else while staying hidden myself. Being a softer space is what allows me to be seen. My inner peace is what creates peace.
That place beyond wrongdoing and rightdoing allows mutable truths to exist all at once. And on some level, there's intelligence in the reasons my system feels it can't relax. Yet for me, dissolving my fixed ways of being, coming to centre, connecting with spirit, and taking full responsibility, where I can, is the first step to everything. This work will forever be a part of my life, and what I endeavor to facilitate for others, in any way I can. It’s God’s work. Thank you @bodymindwholeness 🤍 by @ashleyhart

I'm curious to hear how this deep knowing has shown up in your life and carried you through some of your hardest moments ...or what it might be speaking to you now. It's amazing how life continues to unfold when we act on it. I'd love to hear your stories or experiences below 🤍

Geez, this mama goes all out when she gets a minute to herself 🤪

In all seriousness, if my ‘post yoga’ ramble sparked something.. a few of the first books that gave me language to this “awareness/witness consciousness” and a more tangible way of grasping it (outside the actual practice of yoga and meditation) were...

@donmiguelruiz The Four Agreements
@eckharttolle The Power of Now and A New Earth
Michael Singer The Untethered Soul
@richard.moss The Mandala of Being
And more recently, RichardSchwartz -No Bad Parts

May we all find connection to the wholeness that we truly are, the peace of separation from the ego, and the true joy of alignment- to our most authentic, beautiful selves.

Mom mode activated 💪💖

A girlfriend asked me yesterday “where are you getting all this energy from?”

I didn’t answer… but I thought about it 💭

Something has really shifted lately.

Priest and I night weaned a month ago and we are getting chunks of up to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep -this mama is getting sleep for the first time in years. And it’s funny, because when it first started happening I actually felt worse… like my body needed to catch up and completely reset.

But just this last week? I have a new lease on life!

One of the most incredible things about motherhood is how capable you become -even when you’re stretched thin. I can now do in 5 minutes what used to take me hours. Add sleep on top of that and it feels like anything is possible.💫

This week I’m graduating as a certified life coach with @jayshettycertificationschool and I couldn’t be more enthused or grateful for this new chapter emerging. 🌱 taken in Santa Barbara, California by @ashleyhart

Who else can relate to being so deep in it you can’t find the surface… or the relief of finally catching up with yourself? Both are part of the process ;)
But my gosh prioritising time to process the process. This is where the light is really shining for me right now 🌤️ by @ashleyhart

It felt like a step back in time to declare the rest of our lives.
And therein lies our love story-
written before I opened my eyes.

Journeyed through galaxies,
and a mirage of rough and smooth earthly terrain.

To stand here,
devoting ourselves to remembering again and again.

Feet planted on this historical chapel’s ground,
asking the heavens and those around us
to consecrate our union.

January 8th, 2026 marks us as
husband and wife 💘🙏🕯️🥂

@k.y.h.a thank you for my amazing dress and veils -I truly felt enveloped by your artistry and love. 🤍

@jeffkobermeditation my father-ji… words will never be enough to express our gratitude for you officiating this sacred ceremony — you are a true conduit between earth and sky. 🤍🕯️

To my incredible sister @jesshart and bride of honor, for walking me down the aisle and for forever remaining by my side, always. I couldn’t love you more. 🥹🤍

My brother @jameskirkham -for your presence, witness, and brilliance behind the lens. 🔥
So many more images to come… 🙈✨

My now official mother and brother-in-law -thank you for your beautiful presence and witness. I feel so grateful to call you family now… and forever. 🤍

@katrobinsmusic for singing the most otherworldly Lord’s Prayer and Hallelujah. Your transmutation is like no other, and you quite literally opened the heavens.

@shaecarrot for being there -especially for Priest and capturing magical moments on film. We appreciate you so much.

@brianmilosavljevic for the lend of your dream ride🔥🏎️

And to all those there in spirit -my closest and dearest from the other side of the globe… it was a challenge to decide to keep this moment so intimate, yet we will toast and cuddle and celebrate in the flesh. I miss and love you all so much.

Oh, and just because I can say it…;)
to my HUSBAND thank you for continuously opening your heart, choosing us, and always (and forever) showing up the way you do. You allow me to come home to myself in ways I never, ever would have known without you. 💘🙏🥂
