did someone say, life update?

a little over three years ago after a combination of covid, a severe allergic reaction and a few other simultaneous happenings, my nervous system threw in the towel. the first year and a half i woke up every day to a different mind and body, terrified of what new symptom would arise that day. i spiraled deeper as i lost friends, had to quit my jobs, and tirelessly searched for answers as every doctor apologized and came up short. i didn’t know what was wrong for so long and thought i might lose my mind before i found answers.

after finding holistic medicine where i eventually recieved a few answers and diagnoses, nervous system restoration, and neurofeedback, i’ve been slowly expanding my capacity day by day. for so long i wanted to get back to my previous body, but ive come to realize i must forge a new life, rather than returning to my old one.

somehow, through it all, ive been living an unimaginably full life compared to what i thought i was capable of the past couple years. although losing income, i bought a condo in denver?? lol and have taken two international trips with more planned (hello peru!), all not knowing if id be well enough to travel at all, but taking the leap anyway. i’ve been leaning into the richness of every day, and thankful for homies who held me the whole way 😘
