founders spotlight ✨

ashley + sarah — both raised in small wisconsin towns, shaped by the madison area, and recently returned after time away. our run club started as a simple idea: creating an open, welcoming community where anyone can meet new people and move together.

hi friends!! this october, i’ll be running the chicago marathon and fundraising for the american cancer society for the second time around.

cancer has a way of showing up in almost everyone’s life somehow, and i don’t think there’s always an easy way to put that into words. what i do know is that supporting organizations working toward better treatments, more research, and stronger patient support matters. i feel lucky to be in a position where i can use my voice and my miles to help support that work in a small way.

like most people, i’ve seen cancer touch people i love, and it’s something that stays with you. running gives me a way to turn that into forward motion, one step at a time.

i don’t take this opportunity lightly and am very excited to be able to do it again this year. if you’re able to support, share, or follow along, i’m very grateful. every little bit helps! ❤️💙

Late last fall Sarah and I decided we were going to start a run club in Madison. After the Lululemon run this past weekend, it feels like a good time to share how grateful I am. This community has grown in ways I never expected, and I’m really thankful for everyone who continues to show up and make it what it is. Movement has a special way of bringing people together, and I’m excited to see what’s in store for Run Club Madison.

Huge shoutout to my co-founder Sarah for her dedication and hard work she’s poured into it. Run Club wouldn’t be what It Is without her 🫶🏻

For those of you interested In coming to see what It’s about we meet @workingdraftbeer Tuesdays 6PM!!
