HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME?? Not quite the party party hat I envisioned heading into my 43rd Birthday 🥳 but I don’t make the plans. A friend recently reminded me that “Your story was written before you were born and your victory was included in that story.” I trust God has a reason for this plan. My husband, family and best friends have been my steadfast rocks in every way. My mom dropped everything to be here as long as needed and helping with everything. 🙏🏼

Chemo Day 1 ✅ I truly was excited to get started today! I am staying positive and will continue to find levity (ie E.T.) to get through this pain & hard moments. So thank you for your prayers, texts, calls and messages; you continue to uplift me so much.

So yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! This might be the best birthday yet. I’m overflowing with gratitude from my village near and far - old friends and new friends. The gifts of love, guidance and support I’ve received in this past week alone, is more than I could ever ask for. I can’t thank all of you enough - you have offered help, connections, rides for the kids, love and support. Meal train offers turned GoFundMe support with ongoing mind blowing generosity - thank you. The power of community is real. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. by @ashleymmurdock

Wishing my Mom a very Happy Mother’s Day! Your heart, strength, loyalty to your family and dedication are incomparable. You are so generous and thoughtful and do so much for everyone around you. You are a wonderful mom, Nonna and friend. You speak your mind and stand up for what you believe in always staying true to You. I am so proud to be your daughter and to have learned so much from you. Thank you for all you do for me and the kids. Especially this past year, you’ve stepped in to “Mom” for me when I’m not feeling up to it or unable. I love you so much and am so grateful for you. I woke up with this @hiforrest in my head today and it reminded me how proud I am of Maxwell getting up and singing in front our entire school community at Campout in May. From his bravery to the audience dancing to the spirited tunnel his friends made when he came off the stage - the whole thing makes My heart so happy - and cry like a baby! First week of (all 3 kids at the same) School was a success! 🍏 ✏️ 📚 Last week, Madison started DK, Mason in 4th and Maxwell in 5th. It was a great week of half days, allowing for lots of fun afternoon fun with friends for all of us. Go Saints! taken in St Paul The Apostle School by @ashleymmurdock

So proud of Mason. He’s been putting in the daily work to improve his game and build his confidence and strength. With he and Maxwell being so close in age, they play on a lot of the same teams. Yesterday, Mason stepped up and lead the 8u team scoring 14 points and ran the offense & defense. Although the old Mason was already skilled and athletic, this new Mason is a force and he’s coming into his own and focused on becoming the best Mase he can be. Love him so much and so proud. by @ashleymmurdock
