This month marks the end of my presidential term at AWA+D 🏵️ This became a dream when I joined the organization after winning one of the @awaf.la student scholarships in 2021. I’m thankful to my predecessors who encouraged me to set out on this path 3 years ago for their faith in me and the opportunity to grow as a professional. I was allowed to envision the future of this organization as it turned 100 years old, and became a small part in expanding our community with dance parties, speaking panels, and curating our annual Symposium. Thank you to my many friends from @calpolypomona who joined me along the way, and for all the new friends and colleagues I have met thus far; you were all kind and open to me, often without knowing it was when I needed it the most. I’m excited to continue encouraging young women to be the future of environmental design here and everywhere (shout out to our growing student chapters!) Cheers ✴️🧡 taken in Los Angeles, California by @ashleymrals
