If you, like me, are a little bit devastated that @eastrustonoldvicarage is now shut for the season.. you can keep a big smile on your face with the @eastrustonoldvicarage calendar 2027. Also, a great Christmas present!

I can’t wait until 2027 to return to my favourite place! I’m sure Alan and the gardening team will have lots of beautiful new surprises for us.

The last day of the season @eastrustonoldvicarage . It’s a glorious day under blue skies. The perfect place to be. by @ashleymunroscott.art

This painting is of the dining room table, in my old house. I have a rather cluttered home, ‘Quelle surprise’ I hear my friends say. It is filled with items that are memories of people and places or items that I have foraged in bric-a-brac shops, car boot sales and antique shops. I like the beauty of these things around me and I also like them in my paintings.

I started this painting a few years ago following a lovely holiday in Sitges, Spain. I finally tidied up the spare room and found it looking a little dejected. I realised it’s about time that I brought it back to life!

It’s nice to be a little wild with it…

Finished.. ‘The Wild Dancing Dahlias’.

@eastrustonoldvicarage This is my impression of the Dahlia border, where the flowers looked like they were having a full on party and enjoying every moment. I certainly did painting it. X

@ashleymunroscott.art and I always have so much fun when we deliver our workshops @eastrustonoldvicarage

This week we spent the day with Sue and Lynne who painted two beautiful acrylic still life’s.

We enjoyed lunch outside under the Brugmansia and returned to finish our paintings. A great day was had by all.

Further dates for our Workshops will be announced, keep a lookout.
You may join our mailing list for future workshops and events, just DM myself or Ashley and you’ll be the first to hear of future dates.

Sometimes a painting just comes together exactly how you want it… this painting is such a perfect reflection of how the day felt for me. Summer fading into Autumn, blue skies with a slight chill in the air and little hints of copper coming through in the leaves. 🍁 The Salvia was glorious. @eastrustonoldvicarage

This painting is part of my exhibition @eastrustonoldvicarage, and can be bought from www.ashleymunroscott.com once I’ve come up with a name for it!
