This October, we’re taking over the BeltLine for PINK WITH PURPOSE — a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk centered on movement, community, and showing up for a cause that impacts so many of those around us.

We’re starting at Chiringa with an opening + group stretch by @shakianicole_ , walking the BeltLine to Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark, then bringing it right back to Chiringa for fellowship and good eats, cold-pressed juices by @befrootful, refresh stations by @fwdher, giveaways by @shopaudacityofficial and @aurabyashleynicole, good vibes @chiringao4w , fellowship + 15% off food purchases.

Four shoots. One day. And a whole lot of learning in between.

From branding and lighting with Mecca Clarke, to couples and wedding posing with Michelle Harris, ethereal maternity with Sophia Barrett, and creative commercial campaigns with Inari Briana. We got to learn it, shoot it, and put it into practice right there in the room.

Being surrounded by Black women photographers who are not only DOPE at what they do, but willing to teach what they know? Yeah. That part. 🤎

Day 2 of Black Girl Shoot was about sharpening the eye, stretching the creativity, and getting better at the craft.

And baby, the shots?! Portfolio upgraded! We loveee that!

Day 1 of BLK Girls Shoot Weekend 2026 💕📸

We kicked off the weekend last night with In Her Element Gallery Night, bringing Black women photographers and creatives together for an evening of connection, celebration, and community.

The room was filled with talent, creativity, and women who understand the power of being in spaces created with us in mind. 💗

I used to think weekends were just a break from work.

Now, I see them as an opportunity to create & connect.

This weekend looked like:

creating @faithfullyfitwc @29.thirtyinc
building with other women entrepreneurs @fwdher
hosting a candle-making class @aurabyashleynicole
sharing meals with new people @thisisthereset
moving my body @softsocietysocial

and making space for joy.

I’m learning that the life you want isn’t built only Monday through Friday. Sometimes it’s built in the small decisions to say yes to the things that make life feel full.
