As much of a planner as I am I never end up regretting these spontaneous trips! Spent the last few days in Vegas with the fam and some friends. We saw Chris Angel, the Foo Fighters, kayaked the Meed River and ate entirely too much food. It was the best time and we’re not quite ready to come home! by @ashleynorfleet

This adventure deserves its own post. I have been to Vegas many times but have never done this! Highly recommend making the 40 minute drive out to the Hoover Dam and kayak the Meed river! It was beautiful ❤️ by @ashleynorfleet

Heading back home from our 5th year of @nycda nationals!
It was a non required year for our team so we had a much smaller group with us but had the best time!
Even though Aria qualified to compete in the OD program, she decided to just do her solo and convention classes since she was the only junior coming from our studio. This gave her much more time than she usually gets on these trips to have an actual vacation! On top of that she turned 13 while we were here, so we fit in dinner with most of her friends (missing a few important players!)
Piper had quite the week. She had some pretty lofty goals to place top 10 with her solo and make the final OD cut to recompete at the gala. While trying to be supportive we had also been prepping her to still be proud of all her hard work no matter what the outcome was.
She ended up making it happen! Piper received 2nd in jazz, 6th overall, then made it to the gala to get 6th runner up for the Outstanding Dancer of the year.
We couldn’t be more proud of both of these girls and their amazing group of friends. Watching them cheer each other on was the highlight of the trip for me 💚💙 by @ashleynorfleet

❤️ It’s our Pipers 11th birthday ❤️
Getting a front row seat at watching her grown up into the strong little lady she’s becoming is such a gift. She’s accomplished so much in her 11 years but I’m most proud of how loving she is to everyone. The world is brighter because you’re in it squeaks. by @ashleynorfleet

Piper competed this weekend at Rainbow. She ended up getting first over all for the Elite 9-11 year olds and crowned the Elite Jr Dancer of the Year 🥰🥰 proud of all the hard work these girls put into what they love. Now to prepare for our favorite (and longest) weekend of the regular season with the whole company at NYCDA! by @ashleynorfleet
