2026 energy is WE ARE OUTSIDE! Talking to people face to face, trying new things, LIVING our lives, and, most of all, having F👏🏼U👏🏼N👏🏼!!

I tried a singles event last night and had a good time. I’m never doing dating apps - tried them against my better judgement a few years ago, never again for many reasons, that’s another convo for another time.

It’s more than dating - I have a desire to expand my life - friendships, what I do with my time, exploring more of the beauty my home has to offer - and honestly could not think of a better way to kick off the new year.

This was a good first venture, if you’re curious to see how this goes stay tuned lol ✨🩷⚡️🌸

✨ PAUSE & REFLECT | IG LIVE RECAP ✨

Our conversation with COREsister @ashscheid (Ashley) was a beautiful reminder that the deepest growth begins with true self-love and authenticity. Ashley shared that her personal commitment is to show herself real love—and to encourage others to do the same by simply being themselves. That is her life mission.

When Ashley hears pause and reflect, she leans into joy—filling her cup and honoring what energizes her. She believes that when we follow our joy, we uncover our purpose, and from that place, clarity naturally unfolds for 2026.

We spoke about gratitude for friendships that carry us through seasons of growth, the power of daily journaling, and the importance of taking time to truly check in with ourselves. One moment that deeply resonated was her reflection on self-worth—something she shared after listening to a podcast by @JayShetty — reminding us that we are worthy not because of our careers, accomplishments, bodies, or milestones, but simply because we exist.

As Ashley so beautifully said: don’t rush ahead. Set intentions for what’s next. Show up. Take one step—and then the next. Growth doesn’t need to be forced; it needs to be honored. 💛

Join CORE Founder Aisha in a chat with CORE sister @ashscheid - Ashley - for an intentional and inspiring IG Live focused on reflection, recognizing growth, and preparing to step into 2026 with clarity and purpose.

A Colorado native now calling California home. She’s a firm believer that joy reveals our purpose, and she intentionally pursues what energizes her in hopes of sparking a zest for life in others.

Ashley fills her cup through meditation, surfing, running, traveling, and time with family—especially her niece and nephews. She’s also a proud fur momma to Sydney, her feisty mini Australian Shepherd, and deeply values her close circle of friends and family.

Together, we’ll talk about honoring both big and small wins, creating space for reflection, and being intentional about what we carry forward into the new year. Bring a journal, an open heart, and join us live 🤍

When I think of the phrase “Take up space” I picture the ocean. With her boundless energy, unapologetically who she is in that moment - serene and gentle or crashing, thunderous waves. She creates the coastline and defines where she ends and land begins. She doesn’t ask where she should be, what her conditions should be, she isn’t containable. She is exactly who she is.

I aspire to be like her. As if she’s telling me to,

Take up space.

With your voice, your ideas, your style, your presence.
With your laughter that turns heads. With your opinions that don’t shrink to make others comfortable. With your desires that don’t apologize for being bold.

You are not too much.
You are not too loud, too emotional, too ambitious, too anything.

You are exactly enough—and the world is better when you fully show up.

So wear the outfit that makes you feel like fire. Say what’s on your heart. Let your personality fill the room. Let your dreams take up space on your calendar.

This is your reminder, for today and every day:
You were never meant to be small.

I’ve had so many comments about my body over the years, as all women have, from religion, siblings, media, guys, friends, magazines, TV - it’s exhaustingly everywhere. I sometimes find it hard to separate what I think of myself from what I’ve learned/been taught/brainwashed etc into believing.

All of these comments and ideas boil down to one thing - keeping me so preoccupied with anything other than my power. If I can be convinced my whole essence boils down to my body and how thin, slim thic, wrinkle free, tan, toned, sexy, but not too sexy, latest fad diet, or current fashion trend, I literally disappear. Chasing something that only benefits others - a whole other conversation. No room is left for my desires. My path. My journey. My opinion of myself.

If you’ve ever felt this and want to love yourself no matter what you think you look like or what others have said about you, I’m right there with you. It seems nearly impossible at times, but let’s start small. Watch the comments you make about yourself - if 6 yo you was looking back at you in the mirror, would you say that to her? Because you actually are saying these things to her. So next time you go to make that comment about yourself or about something you did, picture 6 year old you. If you wouldn’t say it to her, don’t say it to you. Think what you’d tell her instead, and start saying those words to yourself. Do this each time negative self talk starts. Do it gently and without judgement, be kind to yourself as you undo so many years of damage. Be as gentle with yourself as you would a small child. And we’ll begin to rewire our brains and shift our self image and self worth. With love 🩷🩵

The ocean has always called me. It’s been my happy place, a healing space, and a source of absolute joy - even when I was a land locked Colorado girl before seeing the ocean for the first time at 17.

Which might sound weird - how could something you’ve never seen or experienced have SUCH a strong pull? This is what following your HEART, is all about. Often our bodies, our gut, our heart KNOWS what is for us even before our minds know it or we’ve even seen something or been somewhere or tasted something or understand why.

Give it a try - the next time you feel a slight nod to something - that might feel like curiosity, interest, something that lingers with you a moment after you hear of it or glimpse it - give that brief spark some breathe by giving it attention.

Google it. Look at pictures of it. Read about it. If it’s a place, go. If it’s a coffee shop, stop by this weekend. If it’s a book, read it. If it’s a thing like the ocean or mountains or a food, make time for that this weekend. If it’s a job, career or field research it. Our desires are not demons to be tamed while we force ourselves to do “what we’re supposed to” our desires ARE our purpose.

The ocean is one of my big sparks, I’d love to know something that sparks you! 🩵⚡️

To my younger self … 🩷 by @ashleynscheid

Wanted to share my @roxy and @billabong going out of business warehouse sale grabs w/ya. Everything is 60% off. Sad to see them closing in the US at least, I grew up a mountain girl longing for the ocean and lived vicariously through Roxy ads. I justified the haul by saying I’m preserving herstory 😜Lemme know what you get from the sales!

Gotcha story time!! I decided in Nov ‘24 I would get a dog in 2025. Well, Dec 14, I saw this lil’ face on @wagmorpets IG and I knew she was my baby girl. After 4 excruciating days of anticipation, a flurry of @amazonprime orders to set her up, packing her @alohacollection gotcha bag, and a drive to Studio City in rush hour traffic w/her fairy dog mother @annthesurfer I met my baby girl for the first time and we instantly bonded. I mean, lookit dat face!! 🐶 🐾 I had to share the beach w/her immediately. So we went to Blackies the next morning and met more of her fam @alohaalwaysreihna. She is SO LOVED and brings so much love to others. 🩵🐶🐾
