Purposely became trendy for a week.

Work besties, hidden speakeasies, Broadway nights, roaming the streets of NYC and an unexpected extended stay in Chicago. What a time🗽 by @ashleyramona13

41, I love you already! 🤠

Brooks & Dunn, Fletcher’s corn dogs, a little heartbreak from the Longhorns and the best people to spend it all with.

Two out of three ain’t bad. Besides, cowgirls don’t cry! by @ashleyramona13

Proof some of our best moments have absolutely nothing to do with golf.

#MidYearRecap by @ashleyramona13

Somehow these boys grew taller than me while I was just trying to keep up with the laundry, the schedules, the rides and all the prayers.

And now here we are.
Them becoming men and me still thanking God every day that I get to be their mom. 🤍

I didn’t expect standing next to an elephant to feel the way it did.

Strength without force.
Leadership without noise.
A presence that’s steady, aware and unhurried.

They remember.
They feel deeply.
They protect what matters and they move together.

And it stayed with me.

9 months later, I still think about that…
how often I rush, how often I get ahead of myself and how easy it is to forget that kind of quiet strength.

Zambia reminded me there’s another way to move through the world… and I’m still learning how to live from it. by @ashleyramona13

When the 2025 calendar foreshadows the year ✌🏻

#WTF #2025Recap #LifeLately by @ashleyramona13

The perfect latergram because some seasons deserve to be lived before they’re posted.

October turned 40. November slowed me down. Somewhere in between, I felt more myself than ever.

Turns out, this season fits me just fine. by @ashleyramona13

Life’s been full lately… the kind of full that’s good, but fast. So this one’s a little late… but last month we slipped away to Tahoe for his birthday. We realized we hadn’t taken a trip with just the two of us since we started dating and turns out, we still really like each other (especially when there’s good wine and no kids asking what’s for dinner). 😂

From mountain coasters to wine tours to a sunset cruise at Emerald Bay… we even managed to stand in two places at once and test his limits at the craps table.

Marriage is funny… it’s not all grand gestures and big moments. Sometimes it’s realizing that vacation naps count as quality time and somehow, that feels like the best kind of love. 🥂⛰️

Cheers to 45, good wine, better views, and still laughing our way through it all. by @ashleyramona13

{Sunset on the Zambezi River}: The wind in my hair, hippos popping up in the water, and the kind of joy you don’t have to chase… it just finds you.

There’s something about being out here that reminds you to slow down. Not the kind of slow that comes from exhaustion, but the kind that invites you to be fully in it… to laugh, to breathe, to notice the sky, the water, the wild things and to remember who you are underneath it all.

Zambia gave me that.

Unrushed. Unfiltered. Unforgettable. by @ashleyramona13

Zambia, you have my heart. 🇿🇲

I’ve had the privilege of leading many trips to see our work, but this one… this one hit different. Maybe it was stepping into this soil for the first time. Or maybe it was the way joy showed up in the middle of places where the odds have been stacked for generations.

We met women and men who aren’t waiting for perfect conditions or someone to fix it for them. They’re building futures, boldly, bravely, right where they are. With grit. With laughter. With leadership that starts at the grassroots and rises all the way up.

There’s something sacred about witnessing transformation like that. It stops you in your tracks. It invites you to look inward. And it calls you higher.

Because when you see that kind of courage up close, it awakens something in your soul and dares you to live with more of it, too. 💛 by @ashleyramona13

Made my husband do the candid photo challenge with me and I can’t stop laughing. The loud, can’t breathe, hyena kind of laugh.

And I know… my ideas are ridiculous. I know he felt a little uncomfortable and had no clue what he was doing. But he didn’t roll his eyes or ask why. He just said, “Let’s do it” and began to gallop. 🏇

With everything happening right now with the devastating floods across the country, even in my own backyard… parents having to say goodbye to their children, people losing their homes, their partners, their person, I’m even more reminded of how fragile and sacred the everyday really is.

It’s never been about perfect pictures. It’s about choosing joy, being present, and saying yes to the small stuff that ends up meaning everything.
