I’ve had the privilege of leading many trips to see our work, but this one… this one hit different. Maybe it was stepping into this soil for the first time. Or maybe it was the way joy showed up in the middle of places where the odds have been stacked for generations.

We met women and men who aren’t waiting for perfect conditions or someone to fix it for them. They’re building futures, boldly, bravely, right where they are. With grit. With laughter. With leadership that starts at the grassroots and rises all the way up.

There’s something sacred about witnessing transformation like that. It stops you in your tracks. It invites you to look inward. And it calls you higher.

Because when you see that kind of courage up close, it awakens something in your soul and dares you to live with more of it, too. 💛
