I’ve been thinking a lot about Gabby today and how grateful I am for the impact she had on our lives.

One of my favorite things was the relationship she shared with Dylan. They bonded over a shared love of surfing and skateboarding, and it meant so much to Dylan when Gabby passed down her surfboard and skateboard to her.

I’ll also always be thankful for how openly Gabby talked about her faith. It wasn’t something she turned on and off it was a very personal relationship with God that got her through very tough times.

I’m thankful she’s no longer in pain. I find comfort knowing she’s with her Heavenly Father and reunited with the loved ones who went before her including her parents she lost at such a very young age. What a beautiful reunion that must have been.

Today, I’m holding onto gratitude—for her friendship, her faith, the way she loved people, especially Dylan 🙏🏻

Happy Birthday in Heaven, Dad 🤍

There’s a deep peace that comes with knowing you’re home with your Heavenly Father—whole, free, and surrounded by love. While we miss you that truth brings comfort in ways words can’t fully express.

I know you would be so incredibly proud of Dylan. It’s such a gift that she got to spend time with you, even if it was short—not everyone gets that.

I do my best to keep your legacy alive by sharing stories, laughter, and all the little things that made you you. You’re still with us in so many ways.
