the post i have been dreading and the one i know i will never have the words for…
today we laid my best friend and the most perfect papa to rest. the man that taught me all i know about life and the lord. he was the one i went to for advice and when i needed a shoulder to cry on. i knew this day would come but most definitely was never ready for it. he loved big and loved like the lord. he showed me what it looked like to be a persistent servant of the lord. as much as i would love for him to have watch me graduate college, fall in love, walk down the isle, and have kids down here on earth, i know he has the best seat. i am thankful for the 18 years that i got to love the man i called papa. he showed me how a man should love a women and how to love your family. he has always held a special place in my heart and forever will. today may have been one of the hardest days but i am choose peace in knowing where he is today, with no more pain and no more suffering. go rest high until we meet again. i love you forever papa🤍🤍 by @ashlyn.butler
